Switching active window

I have this problem whenever I open a new client and intro starts playing while my mouse is actively trying to switch window my client crashes and I'm forced to open my clients over again (its impossible to detect which process to kill since all are pretty much identical). How can I disable my mouse from switching active window ?

How are you switching windows? You're clicking around as it's launching?

To stop the window swapping, open your Window Layout (select in the top left pane under Window Layouts) then in the bottom right pane in the "Swap Hot Character to main region" drop-down box select any option that does not begin with "always". After doing so, clicking a window with a mouse or using Alt+Tab will no longer swap the windows around. The window will still be "active" when you click on it of course

The game I'm playing is Tera-online.

This mostly happens when I open a secondary window (sometime on first window but rare), as the window shifts to the background window it becomes focused for a short while or up until I click on the active foreground window. If I happen to click on any secondary window while video is playing or in selection screen the client either crashes or closes down. Its easy just to relaunch that one last instance if it crashes and the process hasn't started yet but this isn't always the case.
