Performance hit with ISBoxer

When I run Rift standalone, I get approximately 63 FPS. When I run the same configuration under ISBoxer (Innerspace), I get 43 FPS. Are there any options that I can turn off to improve the performance? I'm not using any of the fancy graphics (video windows, etc), just a straight load and go from the wizard. The graphics card (Titan X) is only about 7% utilization, so the bottleneck is somewhere else.

I can't say that I see the same...

...but I will say that RIFT's FPS was all over the place while I was watching it. Just standing in the starting area, and without moving or having any NPC/player activity around me, my FPS would bounce around from the low 50s to the low 70s, and there seemed to be no pattern to this, at all.

From what I understand, the Gamebryo engine (what RIFT runs on) doesn't seem to have the best track record for being very efficient. I'm not dismissing your claim with that statement, but where exactly are you running your test? I don't have any high level characters, so I can't test anything beyond the starting area.

I'm testing with one toon in the bank in tempest bay, no movement and minimal other activity. Video settings are at the 'minimum' setting.

You might just be running into ISBoxer FPS limiting (plus whatever the game might have built in) so make sure you disable that if you're looking for a direct comparison.
