Daybreak Games' policy

Found at the locked end of a 54-page thread about ISBoxer on the Daybreak Games forum:
https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/unmentioned-3rd-party-software-and-boxing.221973/page-54#post-3248364
Folks the time has come to go ahead and let this thread ride off into the sunset. Roshen clarified our policy on ISBoxer yesterday but in case you missed that it states that using this software while not at your machine may result in the suspension of your account. We feel this is a pretty clear definition so there won't be further elaboration at this time.

On the topic of boxing, there are also no policy changes. The Ragefire server will run under the same requirements as any other EQ server and those have not changed in quite some time. We appreciate and understand that some of you disagree or may be unhappy with this decision. For the most part after 54 pages we believe that feedback has been made fairly clear.

At this time I'm going to ask we move on from those topics to more constructive ones which we can discuss and make changes around. If you want to discuss ISBoxer or any other 3rd party software further, please utilize their forums. Any further discussion of it will be removed and can be considered a violation of our forum guidelines.

We appreciate both your patience and understanding and if you have questions surrounding this or moderation, please feel free to PM me

In a nutshell, as long as you are not violating Daybreak Games policies by using bots or hacks and such, they are allowing the use of ISBoxer.

However, we should also note that they have, in the time between that thread and now, begun to censor the use of the word ISBoxer from the Daybreak forums, automatically replacing with the text "[Unmentioned 3rd Party Software]". (Google has it cached as ISBoxer still.) This is likely because, as quoted, they believe ISBoxer discussion should be done here at our forums instead of ours. We would tend to agree with that... :)
