Logitech g510-G keys causes one client to close
This is an issue I had while setting up Star Wars - The old Republic to multibox with 4 characters. I had setup SW-TOR as described in various videos/posts and had a working hotkey for the non-controlled characters to assist or follow the one who i was currently controlling. The problem is that when I assigned that hotkey to a G-key (either the assist or follow), it would close the 4th client, and only if the 1st was being controlled. I did a ton of reading to find a similar situation but couldn't find one.
The Solution- unassign all your g-keys in the logitech software and assign the g-key as a hotkey using isboxer's drop down menu (when your trying to assign a hot key). You have to use the drop down because it won't detect a g-key being pressed.
It was as simple as that. I know lax had said this is what needs to be done if you wanted to assign a g-key in isboxer, but I wasn't technically assigning one is isboxer, just the logitech program. (example - I had alt-f for the follow command in isboxer, then setup logitech to do alt-f when g18 is pressed) It worked exactly as expected but with the weird side effect I had mentioned.
Just posting this to help anyone else with this keyboard and is having some odd behaviour.
