DXnothing help a newbye regarding eula

hello
i want to setup a small fleet in eve online and i was wondering if dxnothing windows are considered client modifications by the eula
the way i want to use those regions includes sending comands to diferent clients by clicking on the modules and icons that appear in dxnothing views
i allready burchased a isboxer licence and learned the basics of how to set it up but before i start to use it intensivley i would like to know about this thing in particular
i don't plan to use round robin or broadcast, only clicks
thanks

This is not CCP, so we cannot confirm nor deny what is consistent with or breaches the EULA for EVE Online. We can debate it as much as we like, but we have no ruling authority.

IMO, DXNothing is not a client modification (it being just another application), BUT you might consider that using VideoFX on it, with clickthru will "change the way the game is played", because you can setup a UI layout that someone without ISBoxer cannot do.

Unfortunately the statement "change the way the game is played" is fairly broad because if you do it standing on your head, that will also change the way the game is played.
CCP have never stated how the game should be played, so their provision for changing how it is played is just nonsense, BUT you have very little response for it if they decide to apply it against you.

Well eve is very hard for new players however eve is not really a solo player game. You can play it but most of the stuff in eve is geared towards groups of people. If you look at all the player events and ccp events that happen every year.

Yes as far as the rules goes ccp eula is a lot of gray. they will allow things until they get to much public complaint then will clarify that is no longer legal. Like they did with the broadcasting. It was legal then they gave everyone warning and says this is no longer legal.
