Minimizing Screens

Is there a good way to minimize all of my screens if I need to? Sometimes I get an email I need to respond to, or something else comes up. I may need to get to my desktop. I'd love one key to toggle all of the windows on and off. I've looked at the window layouts, and nothing jumped out at me.

I don't recall EQ having anything like this built in either.

No, ISboxer is not about minimising and maximising.

That said, you possibly could get away with using the Window Style Action (http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/Window_Style_Action) to reposition and resize the windows, along with the Window State Action (http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/Window_State_Action) to send them all to the background, which in turn should leave your desktop as the visible item.

Personally I leave my taskbar visible anyway (on a different monitor than my main which helps), so regardless of the Windows themselves (which I never set to Always On Top "ON", but only if I need to then "ON, if a game window is foreground"), I can always get to it, which overrides the games.

Thanks, but I'm looking to get rid of ISBoxer's stuff for a second. Windows-M leaves the ISBoxer windows blocking 95% of my desktop.

I'm sure there is a way, I mean we can turn off just about everything. OK I'm hoping there is a way...

And thanks Bob, I just saw your post. I'll look into that. I have my taskbar visible as well, but I have to hunt for things more than I would otherwise.
That 0x0 shown on the window action page looks promising

if you are running Windows 7 there is a little button on the taskbar to the far right past the time. Its is a little sliver. That is "Show Desktop" and will minimize everything and show you your desktop

Repeat: Windows-M leaves the ISBoxer windows blocking 95% of my desktop. (As in all the other windows minimize)

There are some utilities that will sort of work. There are still cases where the windows pop back up when I'm working in another window.
