Re: Windows rapidly switching focus

Also, while your at it, it would appear that the Character9Name (from the pasted profile) is actually a character called DXnothing, but it is set to "Eve Online" rather than "Other" in the "ISBoxer can provide additional features and apply fixes for certain games.... " drop down.

Not sure if this matters too much in this instance, but as that drop down can mean that certain settings are enforced upon how ISBoxer is handling the "sandboxing", then it is best to select the right value for the drop down. Some of your other characters which are obviously EVE instances are set to "Other" rather than "Eve Online" too.

Re: Windows rapidly switching focus

I read your response and tried your suggestions but didn't have any luck. I did however get some clues and saw the direction of your thoughts so continued with altering various settings and testing the outcome.

The only work-around I have found for my issue is to turn off a setting in the window layout Regions: Always on top mode: Off. Once I changed this setting on all windows I no longer observed the reported behavior.

For your information: I have a screen area of 3840x2160. I split this up into two sets of stacked 1920x1080 windows in the top left and top right quadrants. In the lower half of the screen area I have a dxNothing window that spans the width of the screen with 25 VFX repeater areas from the windows above.

Let me know if you need any further information about this. If not, we can call this resolved.

Thank you for your help.

It makes sense that if you have multiple windows in the same location all with Always On Top = On, that as soon as you try to move another window to the top, that they all start the fight of who should be on top again.

Sometimes even the best of us miss the simple things, and I'm sure it will be remembered for the next person who describes this issue!
