LOTRO: Key map for inviting toons...advice ?

Hello. I am looking for advice/suggestions on best way to make a key map for inviting my toons and accepting without have to open character panel and do it manually then broadcasting mouse to accept in order. Having trouble figuring out how to target the other characters to send the invite. Thanks.

Re: LOTRO: Key map for inviting toons...advice ?

I've not found an easy way (although there may be better ways than mine).

I have a mapped key that is specific to each team that has 10 steps.
This is execute on "pressed OR release" mapped key so I only need to press if 5 times.

Code:
Step 1,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
  --- Key String Action -- /invite {slot 2 char name}
Step 2,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
Step 3,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
  --- Key String Action -- /invite {slot 3 char name}
Step 4,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
Step 5,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
  --- Key String Action -- /invite {slot 4 char name}
Step 6,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
Step 7,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
  --- Key String Action -- /invite {slot 5 char name}
Step 8,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
Step 9,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self
  --- Key String Action -- /invite {slot 6 char name}
Step 10,
  --- Keystroke Action -- Enter -> self

And then I have a round robin on SHIFT+Mouse1, so I turn on repeater to line up the mouse in the right spot, and then I SHIFT+Mouse1 to click on the Accept button on the windows in the slot order.

I then use the Virtualisation features of ISBoxer to replace a generic Invite mapped key, which has my hot key associated with it, with the character set specific version that actually does the invite for that team. This is set in the character set's Virtual Mapped Keys tab.

Re: LOTRO: Key map for inviting toons...advice ?

Thx Bob. I did the key string action set up as well. just trying to figure out the accept part now. I was checking if there was a command in Lotro to accept invites but not seeing it. I am not familiar with the mouse set up you are speaking of. I am just swapping windows so far to accept. Ok so I tried to setting up a keystroke action with Shift/mouse1 -round robin and set the target as all others in ATG group of my team. The mouse still clicks on all at once ? I guess I don't understand how to set that up. What am I doing wrong ?

Re: LOTRO: Key map for inviting toons...advice ?

No, there is no Accept function in Lotro.

The mouse round robin is just a mapped key (Key remap if using the Wizard) with a Hotkey of SHIFT+Mouse1, and it sends Mouse1 to all windows (key combination in the wizard), and the Round Robin box is ticked (in truth my mapped key is a little different now, but this is where I started).

So I can press SHIFT+Mouse1 and it will cycle through each window. I still use the Repeater to get the mouse position right because the invite Accept box is not on the originating character (slot 1), and then just SHIFT+Click.

This is also useful for NPC interaction where some of the time the NPC cannot handle too many requests from multiple clients at the same time (usually 4 or more clients have problems)

Is the target all w/current ? When I hold down the shift/mouse1 it doesn't click in the other windows . I have 2 actions in the step.
Sync Cursor - self
mouse1 - round-robin: all

I use All w/Current because I use that round robin for other things too.

You could use All w/o Current if you like but it means that it doesn't click the current active window, so if you are using it for NPC interaction too you need to still do the local click.

Ok got it figured out I think, had to change to key pressed not released. ( which is default) do I need the sync cursor action ? The wizard put it in . And that's a good idea with the NPC interaction. I deleted the sync cursor action and it still works. Not sure why that was in there. Thanks for the help.

The sync cursor action is useful so you don't have to turn on Repeater to line up the mouse pointer.
Having the sync cursor action means I don't need the repeater for most NPC interaction. I usually do use the repeater for the invite/accept phase because the main does not have the Fship Accept box, so I line up by looking at a slave mini window, or I need to switch to a slave in order to get the positioning right and let the sync cursor action place it on all clients. It doesn't hurt to leave it in the mapped key.
