Ultra Wide SCreen the perfect Diablo 3 screen

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share my experience with a 29 inch Ultra wide screen. Because the horizontal resolution is 2560 width you can have 3 small screen on the side and your main screen is still 1980 x 1080. This works amazing for Diablo 3 and tbh i am used to the plenty of side space so much now i love it in any game.

I like it. It almost seems easier on the eyes to look to the left on the same monitor to see any legendaries than it does to have to look down or all the way over to another monitor.

It is, with the reduced amount of drops i do not use finders keepers anymore as it is easy to see the start on the mini map, not risking a ban also by not using it as they updated the TOS on memory reading.

Can you show link me where you found this information?
I just read TOS with data 18 march and can't find this information.

I found only info about memory reading by battle.net program, but they do it from long time.

Use any unauthorized third-party software that intercepts, "mines", or otherwise collects information from or through the Game or the Service, including without limitation any software that reads areas of RAM used by the Game to store information;

It's safe to assume that having an external third party program read a game's memory (or the game screen) and react to something as a direct result from that is ALWAYS going to be against the TOS of any game.

Re: Ultra Wide SCreen the perfect Diablo 3 screen

Damn, this looks great !

I have a 23" 1920x1080 screen, it was ok to play 2 account at the same time, I was playing fullscreen on both, and swapping between them.
Now I'm playing 3 accounts and fullscreen for the 3 is not good for legendary loot (with 2 account you just have to hear the noise of the legendary drop, and swapping between screen is not a problem, with 3 accounts it's a problem hehe)

So, yesterday I tried to play with the window layout but everything is messy. And I have 1 question :

Do you change the resolution in Diablo 3 or not ?

for exemple, if I do a layout of 3 equal scare, do I have to change the res in diablo 3 (mine is 1920x1080) or not ?
For the moment I ketp it at 1920x1080 in windowed fullscreen mode, but it's not good, I barely read the text.

edit: I forgot I had an old HD ready TV 32" that works perfectly as a second screen :p / problem solve.

Yes, I understand this, but I'm wonder how they can find program, which only read game memory. TOS allow scan whole computer RAM during play and search third party software which blizzard have on black list.
I don't write programs loooong time on windows, so maybe now it's possible to find program like findkeepers?

It doesn't matter whether or not they can detect it, discussion of programs that violate the game's EULA/TOS is not okay here.

It was rhetorical question and what programs use or not is our individual case.
Using programs for cheat games is definitely not ok.
