ISBoxer, err....what am i doing wrong

HI, im an absolute newb to multiboxing. Downloaded ISBoxer, started the quickstart wizard x times, watched video guides, but nothing seems to work right (window layout excluded, works fine after 123461544 trials)
Characterset 2 meeles, rogue and pala (later healer), cant even change the default hotkeys for follow and assist (follow = left shift + e, assist = left shift + q).

Problems:
1. You set the follow and assist hotkeys in the wrong place, and in doing so you made it so they won't work.
2. You added Hotkeys to Straight Key Broadcast 1, 2 and 3 but these are already Assist + Broadcast via the Standard Menu

Here is my advice:
1. In the File menu select Clear, and let it clear out your profile. This will reset the changes that broke your config
2. Use the Quick Setup Wizard. On the last page of the wizard, on the Hotkeys tab, this is where you want to set your follow and assist hotkeys to Shift+E and Shift+Q. If you have set up a key in WoW for Interact with Target, enter that on the Game Key Bindings tab -- don't change anything else in the Game Key Bindings tab -- and set up a Hotkey on the Hotkeys tab to activate IWT for all of your guys (it does not need to match the in-game Key Binding). Also on the Hotkeys tab, decide if you want the visible Standard Menu, or not. The option is on the bottom next to the picture of the Standard Menu.
3. Don't open up the Game Helper for World of Warcraft
4. Don't add 1, 2 and 3, these are already added for you (1 through = in fact)
5. Export to Inner Space and launch your team

Thx a lot for the quick answer. Did everything you told me, even tried a complete new installation. But still doesnt work. Alt+f and alt+a ( premade settings like F11 for follow etc.) seem to work well, any changes ive made not. :(

I need to see a new copy of your profile with the changes you made in order to discuss why they didn't work. :)

As it stands, certain things in your profile won't work because you've chosen to use the "targeting grid" on the final step of the Wizard. If you had chosen World of Warcraft on the first step of the Wizard then the option for per-character target and assist macros would have been chosen by default -- Do not change that settings unless you have a good reason to.

You'll need to clear your profile again, re-run the Wizard again, choose World of Wacraft on the first step, and touch nothing on the Game Key Bindings tab on the final step.

Re: ISBoxer, err....what am i doing wrong

im getting closer step by step ;)

windows layout is working great

follow is working (left shift+q)
assist ..hm..marks the target of my master char (left shift+e)
interact...not working (left shift+r)

cleared all ingame bindings

chosen the visible hotkey menu...not working (have to bind e.g 1 attack on toon, same on master ingame, then they both start attacking), but special attacks, that i put into the slot are not working

and not to forget, thx for any advices!

You need to set a Variable Keystroke for IWT, it's not automatic.

I think there may be some confusion with how the default Menu is supposed to work. I think my reply to another user on d-b covers this:

I don't know what "special attacks" means, but it sounds like you want to add more than the default set of keys than the Wizard sets up. If so...

Re: ISBoxer, err....what am i doing wrong

after a lot of reading and following your instructions, finally got the most options working now. ISBoxer rocks!
As is said before, im just at the beginning fo dual boxing, therefore the one or another question will follow.

I want to target my target my master char in main window (that means a hotkey pressed in main window) with my toon. In quick setup wizard theres something like F1,F2 etc., but that doenst work. Do i have to bind keys ingame to make it work, or is isboxer doing that for me?

Last but not least, ty very much for all the efforts, very appreciated!

Neither

I want to target my target my master char in main window (that means a hotkey pressed in main window) with my toon.

This will blow your mind:
1. In the top left pane under Key Maps, select Non-combat
2. In the bottom left pane under Mapped Keys, select "Target Me"
3. Set a Hotkey in the bottom right pane
4. Export to Inner Space

:)
