GTX 470 Wierdness

I just upgraded from a GTX 260OC to a GTX 470 card and I'm seeing some strange rendering issues randomly on my slave instances. Every once in a while it seems like all of the background stuff (transparency layers, background fills, etc) starts blinking rapidly and requires that I log that instance completely out and relaunch.

Anyone else experiencing this? Latest Innerspace build as well as latest Nvidia drivers.

Re: GTX 470 Wierdness

I've been having the same issues with a GTX 480. I found that if I open the video menu, change the resolution, and then change it back, it takes care of the problem.

It's a fairly random occurrence.

Lax - is it possible we have some wierdness happening between the video drivers for the GTX400 series Nvidia stuff and Innerspace? Maybe a rendering issue of some sort with the way you're handling instant switching?

Re: GTX 470 Wierdness

Sorry for the late response here, obviously I'm no expert on specific video cards and as I don't currently have one of those particular cards I can't say one way or another what it might be ;)

I have been making a lot of changes to the development build of IS that could potentially affect/cause/fix this. Or it might just be a driver issue with the series? Anyway to try the dev build right click IS, select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart IS

Re: GTX 470 Wierdness

I've been running the dev builds for a couple of weeks now, and I can say that I haven't had the issue in over a week. Which was rare, it used to happen at least once a day when I would play. So, fingers crossed that whatever you did worked.

Thanks!
