Only one character launches

Hey,

I just bought isBoxer for a year subscription, and I am having a problem with only having 1 character launch (I have a team of 5, but I have tried a team of 2 and nothing worked). I have simply done the "quick setup wizard" with a basic region layout (preset) and here is my console log:

I have used the trial before on a different computer, and I can tell that, on the 1 instance of EVE that does appear, it isn't actually connected to isboxer (no FPS or anything shown, and no shortcuts work). I have tried Googling and looking on here but to no avail.

I'm on Windows 8.1. I have 3 monitors with 2 ATI graphics cards (no crossfire, i have 2 monitors on 1 card, and 1 on the other). Any help would be much appreciated since I just spent $50 on it.

It might also be important to note that I have tried it while not running Teamspeak, and have disabled AVG, but nothing works. I also did a diagnostic for game crashing, even though the first client doesn't crash... Here it is: http://privatepaste.com/303353aba0

You mention disabling AVG, but I suggest you uninstall it to see if it fixes it; because even with it disabled, it's still running on your system:

CCC and MOM have both been known to cause issues in the past, so I'd suggest shutting them down as well.

Check for a new version of your ATI/AMD video drivers from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

and try shutting down TeamViewer and Flux as well

Still same problem. I've literally closed all the programs I think could possibly affect it. My video drivers are 100% up-to-date.

Hmm.

I do find it a little weird that the game is loading

.. since nothing in there should be using DirectX 10 (it's not even loaded)

You COULD try switching the game's Direct3D mode from 11 to 9 (or vice versa) and see if that solves it for you. Note that you MIGHT have to open up C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings and delete per-Character core_public.dat or prefs.ini files that were created by ISBoxer for the setting to take, if you're not setting it through ISBoxer (so if you launch the launcher by itself and set this setting, it might not be used by ISBoxer because of Virtual Files until you delete the per-Character ones it made)

For those of you who may have the same problem in the future:

You must force directx 9 for EVE to function with Innerspace

[14:19] <~Lax> in the launcher click the settings gear icon
[14:19] <~Lax> and then click the DirectX tab
[14:19] <~Lax> and it should provide you a drop-down box


If the game works for you (in the default profile, not "no patch") in directx 9, then you have this same problem as me.

[14:28] <~Lax> open up your Game Profile (http://isboxer.com/wiki/Game_Profile) and set it with parameters /triPlatform=dx9 /noconsole

Now you can run it with no patcher forcing directx 9!
