Paly/Priest Suggestions

Hello. Awesome software. Been a traditional dual-boxer for a year now, desktop/laptop. Having recently upgraded my desktop to a much more powerful system [5 yr difference in technology] I decided to look into MB software and running on one machine. All the multi-boxers I talked to pointed me here.

My question:

When I dual leveled my priest and paladin, my paladin was my active on desktop and I would target/attack etc as needed, my priest on laptop was set to follow, had my paladin as focus and buttons 1,2,3..etc... were various heals heal, binding etc.. I would use left hand on laptop for heals as needed and click for paladin, not efficient but fine for RAF leveling to 60. [really wish I knew about this then...]

In ISBoxer, using the default setup I can steamroll dailies, kill elites etc with no change to my cast bars, just using my paladin rotation, my priest in shadow the bars are setup just fine, was able to "solo" Chillmaw this way.

But, getting into harder encounters where heals are a must is where I'm missing the boat. I'll farm HPoS for the hilt and as a desktop/laptop can do just fine, but in windowed mode in ISBoxer, it was a disaster. I change spec to holy, set up bar as various heals and as soon as encounter starts, healer switches focus to target and all the heals are wasted on an undamaged priest while my paladin withers away to nothing.

Tips on setup? I saw a mention of using healbot, but couldn't find the tutorial on dual-boxing.com.

Thanks again

Re: Paly/Priest Suggestions

The way we like to heal around here is indeed with a standard healer addon, the main 3 I hear about people using with ISBoxer are: Grid, Healbot, and Vuhdo. The 3 links below show Grid and Healbot, I use Vuhdo but there isn't a guide on setting that one up with ISBoxer yet.

These are found in the guides section here:
http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/32- ... e-repeater
http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/33- ... a-repeater
http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/74- ... t-repeater

If you decide to set this up on multiple computers, this thread on dual-boxing.com covers some potential issues and the solutions: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=31587 (if only using one PC this link is completely unnecessary to read)

Took me about 2 minutes to set this up once I saw the vid, 1/2 of which was figuring out why both toons were casting :P Hardest part is remebering to favor left side for priest, right side for paladin.

Thanks
