ISBoxer causing PC to crash

I am trying out the 7 day trial for ISBoxer to run two accounts on SWTOR and I like the concept so far. Unfortunately I am running into an issue that is preventing me from being able to customize. While in the ISBoxer Toolkit, if I click on "Character Sets", right click on "Character Sets", or click on any of the character sets (basically anything that causes the window affiliated with Character sets to come up) my PC freezes and must be reset in order for me to take any action.

Background: I have IS installed. The crash occurs regardless on any other programs I have running or not running. I am running windows XP. I am not the brightest computer operator in the world.

Re: ISBoxer causing PC to crash

You need .NET Framework 3.5:

If it says it's already installed, then it's probably corrupt and you should uninstall your existing version and reinstall the version I just linked.

You may or may not also need this:

Re: ISBoxer causing PC to crash

Uninstalled 3.5 SPI and installed the 3.5 version linked as well as updating the IE linked, but it still has not resolved the issue.

I am looking to upgrade my PC in the near future since running two instances of SWTOR is maxing out my CPU and I can barely maintain 20 FPS on either. Perhaps with a different operating system and hardware the issue will resolve itself.

edit: Thank you for the timely response by the by.

Re: ISBoxer causing PC to crash

If your PC freezes entirely there's likely an issue with hardware or drivers. There should be absolutely no way for a simple app like ISBoxer Toolkit to completely freeze your PC.

I am in inclined to agree with you. One more excuse to upgrade. I will revisit the program once I have put something new together.
