Are you using multiple monitors?

Is the game crashing? or just freezing? If it's crashing and popping up a crash box, then the file D3Debug.txt in your Diablo 3 folder might be helpful.

At the time that it freezes, try opening up the Windows Task Manager. Someone mentioned that this helped them work around the freeze.

Same problem but with 4 instances. The screen freezes and remains like that. I notice the game hasn't crashed cause the character with the screen frozen moves around and reacts to my commands but slow compared to the others (gets out of sync fast). And yes, i have a secondary monitor. Here's my config:
