EQ2 - ISBoxer works...but backwards!?!

I have 2 accounts set up. Both run a client on the same PC. The primary account (the master) and the secondary account (the slave). I've got ISBoxer working per a video from Ditches.

Now, the problem I am having is that the master does not send the key's I've defined to the slave. It is in reverse - the key mappings I've defined only work from the slave to the master - like it is the opposite of what I expect or want.

How do I get the master to send to the slave properly? Thanks in advance!

Re: EQ2 - ISBoxer works...but backwards!?!

ive had no problem with it on eq2, although i've only recently started using it

ill just use a basic example of my jump macro for you

Jump (Name Of Keymap/Mapped Key),
Keystroke To Activate: Ctrl+Space
Steps:
>1 Send To: All windows W/ Current
Play Keystroke: Space

works perfectly, client 1 jumps and like 1 second later (i think i need to change this timing so that it jumps at the same time?) the other 3 clients i have running will jump simealtaneously

It sounds like you assigned your Key Map only to your slave. The features you assign will only work in/from those particular windows. If you want it to work from any window, assign it to your Character Set. If you only want it to work from your master, then only assign it to your master

There's no timing you can change unless the delay is because of the game's framerate, in which case you can work on increasing the FPS of your background windows (put the game in performance mode, etc). The broadcast is sent to all windows (including the current window) at the same time, they should all try to jump within milliseconds.

In your current window you will observe them appearing to jump later, because they send the jump message to the server (and appear to jump instantly in their own window), but you don't see them jump until the server sends you that information back. An observer (i.e. not one of the characters you're jumping) SHOULD see you all jumping at the same time.

Aah, thats interesting, i will try it out later and see if the observer sees simealtaneous or not, if not, ill try the original suggestions :)

Thanks for the reply. I think I know what you mean. I'll go back and assign the same key mappings to all the windows to see if that fixes it. Since this time, I have expanded to 4 accounts:

SLOT 1 = Master
SLOT 2 = Slave
SLOT 3 = Slave
SLOT 4 = Slave

When I send a mapped key from the master it works to 2 of the slaves (slaves 2 and 4), but still one of the slaves does not work (slave 3). In this case only 2 windows receive the keystroke.

If I go to the slave that DOES NOT work (slave 3) and try the same key mapped key it works...all of the other windows receive and execute the key (I would have expected the master to work this way). For example, I can send a particular key stroke (Ctrl+A) and each of the other windows (the Master and 2 other slaves) ...3 windows receive the key associated with Ctrl+A. Works great! But again, not what I expected. I would expect that SLOT 1...the one I've defined as the Master would allow this to happen.

Again, I'll assign the keys to all of the windows and see what happens...I'll report back. It is SO close to what I'm looking for...
