I just started 4x CM wiz a couple days ago because i wanted to see what MP10 was all about, since i could never do that with my 4x strafe DH. I believe the biggest issue is the Chain Reaction rune on Explosive blast, i have since changed to Obliterate for more reach to easily kill white mobs that are on the outer ring of frost nova, and have noticed a large difference in the horrid freeze for like 2-3 seconds then everything explodes (including your wizards haha) and the dps loss is not really a big deal.
*edit* looks like Storm Armor - Shocking Aspect is a main offender too, i kill plenty fast without it, and pinpoint barrier is still a great dps boost and the crit chance is nice, but yeah never using those 2 runes every again :X
Mp10 is not much of a problem with this setup. just have to teleport around the molten explosions and make sure you don't eat too many arcane beams.
i have 2 frost nova's which seems sufficient, and 2 Slow Time. One that gives 10% atk speed, and 20% dmg buff, makes killing soo much faster.
Only reason im using Galvanizing Ward is because i forget about Armor since im new to wiz, and Evocation is meh, and there arent any other amazing passives i feel like using.
