Ali says "Farewell to WoW"

Since the change to PVP and multiboxing within BGS here's my core reason why I quit WoW:

With personal remarks from so called "Professionals" while on the clock has moved me to continue my adventures within RIFT from here on out.

Anyhow, I will not be working on anything that deals with Blizzard games any longer, as 24 subs have been canceled due to this change they made.

Best of luck to all of you PVE folks within WoW that are multiboxing with ISBoxer.

Re: Ali says "Farewell to WoW"

Ya i understand that fustration as I was close to start boxing pvp soon, but I guess I will still have to still hold the same for my PvE. Well i guess it is a good thing there is more raid content out was getting bored with PVE onto the Thunder Dome!!! j/k.

P.S. If anyone figures a fix around or anything for this let me know.

I will probably cancel my extra accounts as well once my guild hit's 25, it's 24.5 right now and I've leveled it myself in 2 months with my own accounts. That's the only reason I'm keeping them right now.

Re: Ali says "Farewell to WoW"

I'll still be around doing other games, but as you see here this is what I'm after before I even jump into another game namely RIFT:

So I encourage any and all of you to get your ass covered before going into another game :) Having an e-mail/support ticket made is the most simple way of doing this for paper trails.

However the words, "currently allow" scare me (not saying what holds for the future, until the fail solo botting trolls from WoW find their ways to RIFT), but if they want my business all the better, if not then I'll go to the next :)

Oh and my last word on their WoW forums:

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic ... age=42#827

Saved it in case it get's deleted :)

which was:

We disabled /follow from use in battlegrounds to curb some of the most basic types of bots that use the command. We chose not to communicate it beforehand in attempts to catch as many bots unaware as possible. Removing /follow in battlegrounds is one small change we can make immediately to stop a number of bots, and those that choose to transition to more overt botting methods will have a much higher chance of being caught and banned.

We did consider those who use /follow for other reasons, including multiboxing, before making the change. Multiboxing in battlegrounds has been a long-fought battle within the community, as the effect of multiboxers in those situations is considered unfavorable by many. When we were looking to make a change to disable a command used by bots, which would benefit the game as a whole, we were ok with it also resulting in multiboxing in battlegrounds also going away due to the poor experience it can create for others.

Right now /follow is also disabled in Arenas, but we’re looking to revert that change as bots don’t typically exist in Arenas, and multiboxing in that kind of pre-determined group environment doesn’t tend to be as disruptive.

The only blue post on this topic, here you (Bashiok) are to save the day again like you did with D3 with Jay Wilson's comment on Facebook:

We all know where they losers are :)

Trionworlds has my money now since they fully support multiboxers within any part of their game whether it's PVP or PVE content. :D

Another one for the history books on Ghostcrawler's thoughts on all of you that play any class within the game:

Re: Ali says "Farewell to WoW"

Well like I said in another post, I hadn't been getting any honor on my death knight team in a long time when doing AV. I think they have been stealth nerfing honor on multi chars on follow for a long time. I've won many AVs after spending 45 minutes in some only to get 50 to 150 honor when everyone else on my team got 550 to 600.

You know something is wrong when you are getting less honor than all the losing team characters. Either they are gimping multi chars on follow of honor, or all the cry bags are reporting me afk and the auto system is cutting my honor. I got sick of it. If they ever fix it to where we can go back to bgs I will be calling Blizzard to find out why I'm being short changed in every single bg I do with my multi accounts.
