key repeating won't turn off

I use SHIFT-ALT-R to turn on the keyboard+mouse broadcasting mode at start up and now for some reason this PC no longer recognizes SHIFT-ALT-R.
it understands it long enough to turn of on, but it refuses to see it after that.

any suggestions ( reboot? )

as best I can tell, the ALT key is working, the SHIFT key is working and last the R key is working but SHIFT-ALT-R is no longer captured by innerspace. it works for a short time then quits.

Re: key repeating won't turn off

sigh....
tried another keyboard and got the same results.
it has become unusable on this particular pc for some reason, after I had the fun with the repeater region that wasn't working right. SHIFT-ALT-R quits being captured by innerspace after as few as one time, it lets me turn it on and then quits working, sometimes it lets me turn it on and off a few times and then quits working. restarting innerspace might get it working again for a short time. This PC has been an annoyance since I started using it. it has a 1080p monitor while my older PC has 1200. that small difference in aspect bites, the game places items off screen even when I tell it to use the "default" location. I suppose I could re-install everything.

per say both PC use the same video card ( nvidia 560 ), they only have different monitors.

Re: key repeating won't turn off

It's most likely getting shut off by a custom change you made to your configuration. We can't say for sure what change that might be without seeing it :) HOWTO: Share your configuration for better support

But, generally when people have this problem, it's usually because they shut off the Key Map containing the Hotkey they wanted to use. For example, the "Activate Repeat" (Shift+Alt+R) Hotkey is in your "Always On" key map; if you've added "Always On" to the Activate Maps toggle, then this will shut off both the Shift+Alt+M and Shift+Alt+R Hotkeys and you won't be able to turn them back on.

If your config isn't highly customized you can probably just go to File and select Clear and run the Quick Setup Wizard again...
