Re: AoE Spell for all screens

You want a mapped key, with these elements:
a) a keystroke action, sent to all windows.
b) a send next click action, sent to all of your shaman toons.

Click your hotkey, it sends the keybind to all your shaman toons.
The mouse broadcast circle appears on every toon.

Move the mouse and the targeting circle moves in every window.
When you left click, they all will.
And then the mouse broadcasting is done.

From the Wizards menu select Mapped Key Wizard. Tell it to help you set up a "Straight Key Broadcast Plus Click", which will send a key for you, and also temporarily enable mouse broadcasting. (What Ualaa has described)

Re: AoE Spell for all screens

correct. done that thanks very much

but now the issue is they are not all in the same place
for example the mouse is not in the same place in the other windows as in my MAIN window
for example in my main window the mouse is int he center an then in my second window its in the top left an third between top left an center etc.

what do i need to enable for the mouse broadcasting can all be in the same place?

Re: AoE Spell for all screens

In your window layout, if you have the option 'Enable Instant Swap' checked that will make each of the regions rendered at the same size.
They don't necessarily need to be displayed at the same resolution on your screen (or can be a 'Full Screen Stacked' layout too).

If they're rendered at the same size, when the mouse is in whatever position on one window, it will be in exactly the same position on the others too.

For Warcraft you can save your camera angle.
And then use a macro option to change view, so your characters are looking at almost the same angle.
The slaves follow the main, so the broadcast won't be exactly the same, but it will be very close.

I have bound 'Ctrl-Shift-V' to 'Set View 4' in the wow keybinds so when I send that key all my toons get the exact same camera view angle. When I execute an AOE,I have the following (with press and release enabled):

Step 1: Send AOE key to AOE targets
Step 2: Send 'Ctrl-Shift-V' to AOE targets
Send next click to AOE targets

Then, I look at one of my AOE toons window and move the mouse (in the main window) so the target reticle is located where I want it., then click.

Re: AoE Spell for all screens

Let's say your team is Mages.
And your AoE of choice is Blizzard.

You can have Blizzard on a keybind.
And another for the Set View.

Alternatively, you could create a macro... which would do both of these at once.

#show Blizzard
/script SetView(4);SetView(4)
/cast Blizzard

Your mapped key needs two actions:
a) Keystroke Action -or- Named Warcraft Macro Library Action (depending on whether you want the macro to exist in game, or to manage your macros in IS Boxer and have the addon generate them for you, in game); and
b) a Send Next Click action
