Voice Recognition and IsBoxer

I toyed around a bit with Say2Play while playing Solo and enjoyed it. I'm thinking of setting it up again to use for controlling my main toon while 5-boxing. But I'm wondering, is there a way to integrate Say2Play commands into IsBoxer? For instance if I say "Lumbrical Fluffy Bunny" while driving with my main toon, can IsBoxer intercept the keystroke sent out by Say2Play and send it to toon Lumbrical (Slot 4) and make her cast her fluffy bunny spell? I did a search but didn't see any posts addressing this.

Thanks

Re: Voice Recognition and IsBoxer

I think that it should work like other input devices, the same as programming a typical mouse or keyboard.

So as long as you have the Voice Recognition software running as Administrator (FAQ: Why are my custom keyboard/mouse buttons not working?), it should be able to process voice input and send keystrokes to the active window, where ISBoxer will process it for Hotkeys before passing it through to the game.

Re: Voice Recognition and IsBoxer

Thanks for the replies.

I tried getting Say2Play again, but their purchase site wasn't working and I'm somewhat suspicious they may now be a defunct company. I looked at several programs, and ended up downloading VAC (Voice activated Commands) from dwvac.com (sorry if I'm not supposed to link to other companies). They have a 2 week free trial and the pruchase price is only $18 if you decide it works out. So far after a few hours of testing it seems pretty darn handy. The only issue I'm currently having is I can't make it -not- send the command to my active WoW window. I have set up hotkeys in ISboxer to send a command to whatever window, and it does that. But it also sends the command to whichever window I'm driving, whether I want it to or not. This isn't a huge deal, but it would be nice if I could super-select who gets the command. I'm not even sure if it's an Isboxer kinda deal or a VAC kinda deal. I'm not sure if VAC is making my computer think VAC is a keyboard, or if it is bypassing the keyboard and sending its commands directly to WoW. A software engineer I am not.
