bad quality/ text unreadable

Hi.

I'm running two characters. I have set my layout as one big screen, and a small one in the botton right cornor.
The quality of the picture is fine when i'm running the game in windowed mode, however there is a sync problem when running the game in this mode.
To fix this, I had to run the game in fullscreen windowed mode. But when i'm running the game in this mode, the quality is very bad. The text in the chat and on items is "compressed", it's like there is holes in them that makes them hard to read.

Is there a way to fix this?

Might sound counterintuitive, but try the proper Full Screen mode ingame...and let ISboxer window layouts to sort the windows.

the Sandboxing takes any game that is fullscreen into whatever dimensions you set in ISboxer, diablo will even say "full screen, 569x 423" when doing this.

Hmm all my clients is in "fullscreen" under diablo settings.

In this screenshot it appears the in-game "full screen" resolution is not set to the same size as the window, and if you correct this then your text in the main area will be more readable.

Remember that you are losing some space at the bottom of your screen in this Window Layout, so while the actual size of your screen is 1680x1050, the resolution in game should actually be configured to 1680x790 or so according to this picture. The effect you're seeing is that you're losing a lot of horizontal lines on your main screen, and this is most obvious when you look at text. And rectangles that should be squares.

So my suggestion is to check in the game to see if it lists a resolution closer to 1680x790 -- ISBoxer should be providing one as an available resolution to the game as per your Window Layout (though the game, as with any, chooses what resolutions to actually list).



Another alternative is to use a Full Screen Stacked style of Window Layout, and set up Video FX views of the other windows over the top of your main window. (Or on a second monitor is popular.)

I've tried to check for another resolution, and the closest one is 1600*900 16*9. It's not perfect, but it did help a lot to see the text.

Is there another way to force a game into a specific resolution?
