[WoW] Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting

I believe when I set up my first team I was able to hit the interact with target key and have all screens automatically switch to mouse broadcasting (accepting quests). I have since tried to duplicate this, following the same tutorial as before, but can't get it to change to mouse broadcasting automatically. The only difference I can think of between the first time and subsequent times is I opted to use "G" instead of "alt-G" for the later setups. I did try to reconfigure it outside the wizard back to "alt-G" to see if the alt key had some magical powers, but it did not. Any thoughts on why I can't get this working?
Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Hi. Changing the Hotkey doesn't have magical powers, like you found
If you want your Interact with Target to toggle mouse broadcasting for you, you're going to have to add a mouse broadcasting toggle to Interact with Target. (I know, right?)
I'm not recommending this, but I can tell you how to do it...
1. In the top left pane, under Key Maps, select "General"
2. In the bottom left pane, under Mapped Keys, expand "Interact with Target" so underneath it you see Steps, 1 (and 2)
3. Select 1 under Steps
4. In the bottom right pane, right click on Actions and under "Key Map Actions" select "New Do Mapped Key Action"
4a. Set "Target" to "Window:Current"
4b. Set "Key Map" to "Control"
4c. Set "Mapped Key" to "Activate Repeat"
5. Export to Inner Space
You might also be interested in adding a Mapped Key Step Action above that Do Mapped Key Action, to set "Activate Repeat" to Step 1 before execution (same process, action is found in the same category, and you can move actions up/down via the right click menu). This would make it so your IWT hotkey always turns broadcasting ON, as opposed to simply toggling it (which will turn it OFF half of the time)

Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Ah okay, I must have been mistaken about it doing this in the initial setup. While I have you, I just started having a related issue. I was previously running 2 accounts and the mouse broadcast worked perfectly. Now I'm running 4 accounts and 1 and 3 are in sync, as well as 2 and 4, however they are not all in sync with one another... only slightly off, but enough to miss a button. Is there a way to calibrate the mouse broadcast? Btw I have the same screen ratio on all screens if that matters.
Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Update: alright actually it seems perfectly in line with some buttons, however quest accepting is when it is misaligned (or at least seems that way).
Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Nvm, the mouse broadcasting is working perfectly. For some reason the quest window is positioned differently in 2 of the accounts. Shot in the dark, but any thoughts on that issue?
Same ui scale.

Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
When you're going through the quest window, especially if you have multiple classes, the text at the top might be different and you might even have different quest choices. So picking from a list of quests in the quest window is sometimes a pain. To mitigate that problem, you can grab the latest version of the Jamba Addon (make sure it is a version for MoP, the old versions are busted). One of Jamba's features is to replicate quest window interactions, so that things like the quest selection being slightly lower in some windows due to different text (from different character names, classes, etc) have less of an effect on your play.
Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
It was an addon that had a blizz ui scale multiplier and it was slightly off
. Anyway problem solved. So Jamba is an additonal addon? I noticed several options within isboxer that referenced Jamba.

Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Jamba is an Addon for WoW that a lot of multiboxers choose to use, yes. ISBoxer provides some integration with Jamba if you use it, but it's not required.
A couple other nice feature examples from Jamba include sending your whispers to your active/master window, and automatically selling off all your gray items or you at merchants.

Re: Interact w target -> mouse broadcasting
Assuming the same addons, and the same UI scale, etc.
The initial configuration for each team member can be done with Mouse Broadcast enabled.
That should position each window, effectively in exactly the same position... or off by such a small margin as to not matter.
If you have some configured but not others, you can use Repeater Regions to line them up.
Position the first window/object where you want it.
Create a Repeater Region over the object, and Sync with the other screens.
Then on each of the other screens, move your object/window until it lines up close to perfectly with the Repeater Region (which we know is in the correct spot on the main screen).
If you're not going to need a Repeater Region, when you're done delete it; otherwise Save as Auto, so it will load with the character set.
