Wow and keymaps

Currently my "a" key doesn't work if I have shift held down (aka I can't make capital a's) this only happens when wow is open and its preventing me from holding shift (my heals modifier) and turning left. I believe this is because ISBoxer modified my keymap file although I can't find that file in the wow directory to delete it so a new one is generated. does anyone know were I would find that file? also i've reset my keybinds and disabled all addons and the issue persists so I'm pretty sure its a keymap file issue.

Re: Wow and keymaps

If you have a key map set to "a", but not one set for "shift + a".
And you press "shift + a", are you getting the behavior of pressing a?

If you turn off key maps and repeater, does "shift + a" work as you would expect?

You can define your own mapped keys, fairly easily.

You can do one at a time, or utilize the many new Mapped Key feature.
I for example use as key binds (and thus hot key for mapped keys, even though they don't necessarily need to be the same hot key as output to warcraft key): Shift A, Shift S, Shift D, Shift F, Shift G, Shift H, Shift J, Shift K, Shift L, Shift ;, Shift F1, Shift F2, Shift F3, Shift F4, Shift F5, Shift F6, Shift F7, Shift F8, Shift F9, Shift F10, Shift F11 and Shift F12.
I have to add these if I start a new configuration.

I generally add these to the General Keymap, since that is assigned to every team I use.
Thus once assigned, is good for every team I use.
