Multiple PC FTL Help

I have 5 characters one each on separate PC's.
Follow, Assist isn't working for me.
I've followed the guide for Multiple PC setup. Launching, Key broadcasting, Jumping all works.
I've assigned a modifier to each character and added the FTL commands for FTL assist, Follow, Target, and invite per the link in the guide.

Feel like I've missed something obvious. Here's my Profile, can you see the error?

BTW all five characters running on one PC was amazingly simple to set up!

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

What is it that you're running into? Do they not assist the guy on the main PC?

The problem you might have with 5 PCs is that PC 2 and PC 3 for example might not talk directly to each other, so while FTL will probably work fine to and from PC 1, you might have trouble getting PC 3 to follow PC 2 and so on. Is that the problem?

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

When I hit Alt+F on the main guy I get a message on the slaves that they can't find the target and they do not follow.

If I manually target my main on each slave, then hit Alt+F on the main, they follow correctly.

If I go to a slave and hit alt+F, only the main will follow that character.

When I attack from the main using the action keys 1 through = the slave target something that is nearby but do not assist the main on his target.

When I hit Alt+Backspace on the main, the slaves don't switch to assist.

Lax, I may have to start over from the beginning with a fresh install and follow your guide again, unless you see something dumb i've done.

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

Is the ISBoxer Addon not enabled on all of them? (in game, from the Addons menu at Character Select) According to the macros as configured there's no way you should get the no target thing if they don't have anything selected and you hit Alt+F.

Alternatively, do you have Key Maps disabled? The left button on the click bar should be green, the right button should be grey.

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

Lax thanks for the reply.

Yes the ISBoxer addon is on each slave and the main.
Keymaps are enabled, left side icon green and Braodcasting is disabled, riight sde grey

Alt+F on the main Message on each slave is "You have no Target"

When I target the main manually and hit ALt+F they follow the main. It's like the macro /follow 'main' isn't putting the main's name in there on the slaves -- I will recheck everything for typo's/spelling and see if I can clear it up.

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

Checked that all the keybindings are set to defaults in WoW, looked for typo's - recreated the FTL based macros.

Still no luck.

Any thoughts on more troubleshooting steps?

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

Ok, so I have part of the problem solved.

After creating the 3 FTL macro's on the main computer, I apparently failed to clone/copy those to each of the slave computers. So each slave didn't have the modifiers and sequence in their macro's for assist and follow.

Now each slave works with Assisting , following, dps with the main/master as it should.

So I must be missing another step for the FTL to switch to another character.

When I select any of the slaves, and hit Alt+F only the Main guy switches to following, assisting, and dps'ing with that slave. The other slaves still follow the original main.
The other slaves do not recognize there has been a master change.

Going to re-read all the multiple PC set up notes, and Ualaas guide. Any quick thoughts on what I am now missing?

Trying to understand how to use the Hot Character switch notifier feature with multiple PC's -- is that the correct terminology?

Re: Multiple PC FTL Help

I've not done multiple PC's, so this is a stab in the dark.

It sounds like each of the other PC's can communicate with the main PC.
So the slaves assist/follow the main without issue.
And the main can assist/follow any of the slaves without issue.
But none of the slaves will assist/follow the other slaves.

This is correct.

What would be the correct steps to take to have one of the Slaves take over as Main under normal circumstances?
--When I was testing all 5 on one PC it seems like all you did was click on one of the small slave windows, it would move to the main window and would become the main/master automatically.

*deleted post*
I found the issue, it was a bindings conflict between toons.
