Is dualboxing possible in 5.0.4?

Sorry if I missed some crucial information on this.

So, yeah, I have updated Inner Space and ISBoxer Suite and I try to run my team which I created pre-5.0.4.
I only enable Jamba and the ISBoxer Add-ons on both characters, but the game is unplayable. My FPS drops to 0 and the game locks up.

Also, repeater and key maps works fine, everything seems to work - just not the Alt-F keybinding for follow. It only opens my 4th bag.
I've read the Wiki and found the entry which suggests to check if the ISBoxer AddOn is enabled - which it is.

So, if I disable Jamba the lockup stops and the game runs fine, but I still can't have the characters follow eachother and for some reason the /follow <> macro doesn't work.

Regards

Re: Is dualboxing possible in 5.0.4?

Yes, lots and lots of people are multiboxing WoW with 5.0.4!

The simplest thing for you to do is to create a fresh configuration. Go to File, and select Save As, and back up your current configuration with a custom file name (or in your documents folder, etc). Then, go to File, and select Clear. And run the Quick Setup Wizard again, and Export to Inner Space.

Otherwise, it sounds like a) you need to download the new version of Jamba for this version of WoW, and b) your configuration is apparently not set up to assign the follow macro. I would need to look at your configuration in order to tell you what to change to get the macros back; for most people it is easiest to just reset as described above, and use the Mapped Key Wizard to quickly fill in whatever custom keys they had before. HOWTO: Share your configuration for better support

Right, I started a new ISBoxer Suite and created a new team. Shouldn't take too long to add the keys back. Thanks!

Now, I've got the 0.9.2 version of Jamba which, according to Curse Client and the Jamba website, is the latest version available. It appears that 0.9.2 is designed for 4.3, but there are several beta downloads for 5.0.4 available.

I suppose Jamba is not needed for leveling my RaF team the last bit before their time runs out? I'm not even sure what options I'm using from Jamba, heh.

Thanks again

You can select the 'Load out of date addons' from the addon window to force it to load Jamba. I don't think there are any particular incompatibilities between the old Jamba and the new WoW.

Re: Is dualboxing possible in 5.0.4?

It seems to work now, thanks a lot for the answers.
I disabled Jamba completely and made a fresh configuration for the ISBoxer Suite

I have Load out of Date AddOns on at all times and just checked - it's still activated. Thanks though!
There must be some sort of incompatibility., as it's causing the game to be unplayable and I found a report of "CPU lag" in the thread mentioned below.

Thank you!

Also, it appears that the repeater no longer toggles a mouse icon in my second character window. Is this known/possible to fix? Or was it removed with the release of 5.0.4?

This thread should solve the mystery for you :) http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2799

But, to be clear, this was a bug that they didn't show up correctly and it is now fixed with an update to Inner Space. You can re-start Inner Space to let it patch up, and it should appear as before again
