Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

One simple thing you can try is to reset your custom config.wtf files. Sometimes they change things in major patches that happen to break some custom settings. Try renaming your WoW\WTF folder to something else (e.g. "WTF-20120829"); that way you still have everything and can put it back, but you can rule out anything to do with your personal setting.

If that doesn't help, we need to gather more information about the problem. When this type of error happens, there may be a new entry in the Windows Event Viewer with some technical information that can narrow it down. Type "event viewer" into the search box in Windows (e.g. in the Start menu) to easily find it, and open it up. Then in the left pane expand the "Windows Logs" folder, and select "Application" under it. It might take few seconds at this point, but it should bring up recent "events". You'd be looking for an "Error" level of event, from the Date and Time of that message, from the source "wow". If you find an entry like this in the list, select it. Then in the bottom half, pick the "Details" tab, and click on "XML view". You can copy and paste me that XML and that might help identify the problem.

Lastly, ISBoxer comes with some diagnostic options under the Help menu. In this case, pick "Diagnostics for game crashes" and follow the instructions. It does say to launch the game WITHOUT IS/ISBoxer, and get to where it would normally break (e.g. at the login screen?). Once it does the "Copy", go to privatepaste.com and paste it there, click the Save Paste button, then give me either the link to it or the paste ID.

Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

here the info you ask for. btw i see where you put down get to where it would normally break (e.g. at the login screen?). if you referring to where it gives me the error i never get to the login screen right when i click my player set from isboxer the message pops up right away with no sign of wow at all.

Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

I don't know why you have two different WoW processes running?

67. Wow-64 - Process ID: 9060
68. Wow - Process ID: 7652 (G:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe)

If you're getting a crash because you're trying to run the 64-bit client, I would suggest to not use the 64-bit client because it's not compatible. Normally, Inner Space would give an error code rather than a crash if you were trying to use the 64-bit client, but I'm sure Lax can decode all of this better than I can.

Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

i try using 64bit after 32bit thinking that was it and it gave me a error so i google it and found out inner space don't work with 64bit yet but that was only one time i did that. but no i always used what ever isboxer set me with which was the 32bit one.

Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

I've got a simmilar Problem, cant launch any of my set's. Tried to make new ones - didn't work. WoW runs without ISBoxer. Could not find a Event Log.

Press OK to terminate the application.

What can I do?

Re: can't get wow to launch anymore after 5.04 update

Not sure when Lax will reply to this and it seems only a handful of people are experiencing this. The only advice I can give to anyone at the moment, is to uninstall any anti-virus, anti-malware programs, or any other programs that 'hook' into, 'watch', or have some sort of overlay for World of Warcraft. Disable as much background crap as you can and then try launching again.

Note: When an uninstall process asks for you to reboot, do it.

Normally, Inner Space would give an error code rather than a crash if you were trying to use the 64-bit client, but I'm sure Lax can decode all of this better than I can.

could you also tell me how, i would like to try this... couldnt find anything how doing this

Edit:

Already found out how to, at least i guess this is it, but also didnt work...

Now I've got no more ideas.

If you are getting a #132 error you usually don't need to bother with all of that... it is already specific technical data about the crash. Get me the contents of the #132 error
