Hello Bob,

Is this still supported or is there another method to achieve this?

I notice that the files relate to the turbine launcher.

I'm having this issue now, also. Those fixes are not working. Sometimes it resolves itself and eventually the additional accounts will start up. But it is frustrating. Sometimes, rebooting and just starting up solves the problem, sometimes not. It tends to just crash after doing server selection. A black window pops up, and then disappears. I'm running the 64-bit IS and LotRO.

Hi,
It probably needs a long overdue update to use the updated lotrolauncher.exe. Unfortunately that was one piece that got hardcoded.
I'll have a look at it shortly.

Thanks Bob,

It would be nice to hit load then go and make a coffee while all the splash screens are downloading :)

This is the updated version of the original (had to dig deep to find this)

It will run the new lotroclient.exe. Added an optional parameter on the end for you lovers of all new things. x64 or legacy, for the applicable client.

You should be able to replace the original file with this one, and it should just work as is. Only if you want the x64 or legacy clients do you need to change anything in your existing parameters in InnerSpace.

Hey Bob.

I'm trying to use the cmdLineTurbineLauncher.exe

I keep getting this error:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'INIFileParser, Version=2.0.4.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=79af7b307b65cf3c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
at cmdlineTurbineLauncher.Program.Main(String[] args)

I only have one subscriiption (lifetime) on each of my accounts. I tried running the launcher with no parameters, also, and received the same error code. I have Brandywine acctname password for parameters.

Ahh right. Users of the previous one would already have that. I've added it to the Zip.

Note; this was just a patch up of the old launcher for people that already have it. At some point I'll actually get around to releasing the replacement which was done a few years ago.

Hey Bob,

Getting back into the game after a break and downloaded the new launcher file. It doesn't seem to like the new x64 argument? Am I phrasing it wrong?

(A few of the literal arguments have been replaced in the below to protect the innocents of Middle Earth.)

C:\Program Files (x86)\StandingStoneGames\The Lord of the Rings Online>cmdlineTurbineLauncher.exe Landroval myacctname mypassword subscriptionname x64
Usage: cmdlineTurbineLauncher [worldname] [username] [password] [optional:subscription nickname] [optional:x64/legacy]

[worldname] does not need to be the full world name with the [US] type extension. Just the normal name, e.g. Riddermark
[optional:subscription nickname] this is only required when you have more than one game subscription on the same Turbine account, for the same game.
you can set a nickname in the Turbine account maintenance.
[optional:x64/legacy] to use the 64bit OR the legacy game client

C:\Program Files (x86)\StandingStoneGames\The Lord of the Rings Online>

Thanks!
