In game key maps don't save

Anyone else had this problem? I have to reset all my key commands in game every time I log in. Gets quite time consuming.

Are you carefully logging out or hard quitting?

Usually just right click and close all, or exit game. Does logging out before closing prevent?

Saw an earlier post with instructions. Will try it tomorrow but should be good now.

Plenty of games do not save to file your in game settings until you exit, so if you are hard closing the clients that could be your problem.

I suggest you check that all your characters have unique virtual settings file allocated - click on each character in the upper left pane, then on UserPreferences.ini in "Virtual Files" in the lower left pane and make sure they have UserPreferences-[CharacterName].ini in the field "Virtualize as" in the bottom right pane.

Also, this can happen if you save a default UI layout with keybinds and then load it again, this restores all keybinds to what is in your saved files.
