I can't get assist and interact with target to work.

Noob at multiboxing, and trying a 2 man RK setup on Gladen to start.

I got my first setup from this youtube video:

Lord of the Rings Online walkthrough for ISBoxer 41.

In game, I have my follow (alt F) assist (F) and use? (U) setup and working in the game.

The ISBoxer commands assist (alt V) and use (Alt U) dont work, and somehow I got Follow (alt F) to work, as I

can hit Alt F anytime, and the 2nd toon runs to the first toon.

And I think I got follow to work by doing this:

I set up my Char set so Slot 1 would (under Variable Keystokes)
Target slot 1 is now F1
Target slot 2 is now F2
and under slot 2
Target slot 1 is now F2
Target slot 1 is now F1

On Slot 2, should I add Assist slot 1 (f2) and Interact with Target (F2) here also? or somewhere else?


I got lost here, thinking the Quick Start Wizard would do all this, like in the video, but I think the

isboxer used in the video had already been set up, and skipped something right around there.

Hi, sorry to disappoint you but you did some big mistakes in the last step of the Quick Setup Wizard
I suggest you click in ISBoxer on File -> Clear and start from the very beginning.


Open up the Quick Setup Wizard, name your Characters, Character Set, Window Layout and how ISBoxer handles your CPU till you reach the step "How would you like to control the game".
In this step first click on the tab "Game Key Bindings" and add your key bindings that you already setup in LOTRO:

In game, I have my follow (alt F) assist (F) and use? (U) setup and working in the game.

In this part we tell ISBoxer which key it has to send to the game to do "something"
"Follow Target" -> Alt+F
"Assist Target" -> F
"Interact with Target" -> U


In the lower part just click on the Auto-fill button on the right side.

After that click on the tab "Hotkeys".

[...] assist (alt V) and use (Alt U) [...] Follow (alt F) [...]

Here we configure what hotkey you press on your keyboard so ISBoxer can do "something"
"Follow Target" -> Alt+F
"Assist Target" -> Alt+V
"Interact with Target" -> Alt+U


Leave all the rest as standard, finish the wizard and export to InnerSpace. Now launch the game, form a fellowship and test your hotkeys.

Well, it works this time. Thanks. And it was not the first time I wiped everything and started again, so who knows what I was doing wrong all the time. Now on to menus and mouse clicks for my 85's
