new pc follow bugging out

So I upgraded my pc...getting the game to run with 60fps with three accounts running BUT now my toons who are following me bug out and doot stand BEHIND me..they run ahead of me and turn constanly 8( totaly unplayable now..Ive tried reducing the cores they use...and even raised backround fps up from 30 but still now good.

any ideas as to whats going on?

I'll take a wild guess and suggest maybe your repeater is on. Are they all following, but when you press 'w' the slaves are all running wonky because they're still trying to follow?
If it not that, you may have a crazy fast computer. So fast you need to REDUCE the frame-rate on the slaves even more than the recommended 30fps.

Again these are just wild guesses without much info.

Definitely not. If you press some movement key in LOTRO it will break /follow.


I would guess you have some internet lag but hard to tell without more info.

I think i know what happened in his case, if they follow you after you (accidentally) pressed Num Lock (auto-run) they will keep following you, but because they have to run they will go in front of you and turn around until you press Num Lock again.

Sorry I forgot to update thuis when i fixed it...turns out i was downloading so many games my bandwidth was being gobbleed up so the follow was VERY laggy and unplayable. paused downlaods and it worked fine..sorry
