Rotating movement

is it possible to rotate a toon say 45/90 degrees or make it track a target and it will rotate itself as sometimes if i loose tank agro, a mob will just be either be to far to left or right and it cant be targeted so i have to quickly click onto that toon and do it manually and that can waste valuable seconds any help much appreciated

Re: Rotating movement

Unless the game allows for automated movement, I don't think you'll get this.
IS Boxer has no idea what is happening in any of the games.

You could set up a mapped key, or a clickbar (which runs a mapped key when you click on it) that would have a specific toon turn.
You can set it up to hold the keystroke, so it continues the movement as long as your key is held.
You could set up a movement option for each toon that you want to do so.
You wouldn't have to be in the window of the toon who is receiving the turn instruction... but you would be clicking or holding a key down in your active window.

The rotation is going to be manually controlled by you.
There isn't a way to have IS Boxer do it, without your input... unless the game itself offers that functionality.

Re: Rotating movement

Yeah what Ualaa says.

You could also make a few images for clickbars. Like a curved arrow that points to the left and one to the right, then when you press either one you can set that specific character presses A or D.

Re: Rotating movement

LOTRO makes driving a tank easier than most other games, in my opinion, once i configured it to my liking. When I use Turn to target, under combat options, it only turns when I use an attack skill. So use X to toggle continuous turn to target, like eq2. IIRC Backspace is the default Target the nearest Badguy anywhere 360°.

Edit: After I got home from work, I went to verify the hotkeys and the advice I gave. Backspace is the "Select Nearest Foe" key, under Keymapping, Selection. It even works when the foe is behind. X does toggle Target Lock-on, but the tank turns too slowly for me to rescue a minstrel when the bad guy runs past. And Target Lock-on does not make me run toward the target. Not good enough so my prefered method is to turn on "Enable Movement Assistance in Combat," near the bottom of Combat Options. When I use a melee skill, like Shield-Blow, the tank turns very quickly and runs to the mob. I have a habit of pressing Backspace, then spamming Shield Blow when a mob breaks to run past.
