ccp wont connect 2nd client

Hi, Ive just started a Eve trial account and am trying to multibox with it my subbed main account.

I've downloaded ISB + IS, setup through the wizard and when i try to login on the second window I get a message saying

While we appreciate your enthusiasm to try EVE, we would also appreciate if you could limit yourself to using a single trial or subscription accounts only.

I get the same message when doing things like running off a copied folder or a linked folder following other instructions that are meant to work.

Am I doing something basically wrong?

Running Windows 7. I have both boxes in the launcher 'startup' section checked.

Re: ccp wont connect 2nd client

This is a limitation with trial accounts that they have built into the EVE client. ISBoxer does not attempt to work around this limitation... (though I personally have no problem with what you are doing with 1 paid and 1 trial account, I guess they don't want fleets of trials causing problems, etc)

What I would probably try is to log into the trial account first, and then the paid account. If it's going to work, I guess that'd be the way. Otherwise, you will need to use a second PC or a virtual machine in order to use an EVE trial account alongside any other account.

Ahh I hadnt heard / realised that - I suspected there was something basically wrong.

For future reference, the trick of logging in the trial acc first hasnt worked :(

Thanks for the speedy response though, I guess Ill have to decide whether or not to pay now and waste the 3 weeks free trial i referred to myself.

Cheers.
