How to broadcast mouse and keyboard clicks?

Yes I am aware of what the rules are. That being said, I am trying to get the broadcasting to work again. I unchecked the 'Disable capabilities to control multiple...' etc. before exporting the new character set. I am trying to bring up the little arrows, key maps I think, that used to sit in the top left corner that you clicked to turn broadcast on and off. I press shift+alt+R and it says nothing, shift+alt+M and it just says key maps on and off. I simply want to be able to have the mouse and keyboard broadcast like it used to. So what step am I missing?

If you are not getting any response from the hotkey, then perhaps the hotkey is not what you think it is.

You can look at key Maps -> Always On -> Activate Repeat for the hotkey on the broadcasting (also know as Repeater).

It says it is Shift+alt+R which is default.

The little arrow things are the Toggles menu. You can assign it to your team by selecting your Character Set in the top left, in the lower left, select Menus, and in the lower right select Toggles. Export. You can also use the Hotkey to load the Toggles menu. This is normally CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+B. The menu itself should have no bearing on whether the Activate Repeat mapped key works.

Sounds like you might need to share your config to see what is going on.

It seems I had to reassign the hot key manually even though it said it was set to a certain combo. Working now, thanks for the help.
