It has nothing to do with your ISBoxer configuration. It happens when the focused window is not the foreground window, or something like that. You'll need to swap to that window and away again (or something like that) to fix it (or just cycle through your windows). If you can pin down a series of steps that reproduces the issue that would be very helpful.

Re: Getting Windows Error Sound when Hitting Hotkeys

It happens no matter what i do. If i swap windows it still happens.

I thought the same thing when it first happened but after swapping back and forth between windows to make sure the start bar was not showing anymore it persists.

I have tried rebooting both InnerSpace and ISBoxer and nothing seems to fix it.

This isnt even the only problem i am having. I have a ton of trouble with keybinds and ive used ISBoxer for a long time with WOW running 5 accounts and a very complex setup.

Will make a separate post for other issues though.

Seeing as this isn't fixed yet, I'll reply here. As I have the same problem. It will always make this pinging sound, although I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, I am able to narrow it down a little bit:

1. It's always and only, no exceptions at all, my main window.
2. It's only triggered when using shortcuts that have the ALT key in them. For example: Opening assets: ALT + T, opening Character sheet: ALT + A, and so on. Toggling Tactical: CTRL + D, won't trigger the sound.
3. Cycling through windows, like you suggested, does not work, as the other windows do not have this problem and it won't fix the main window either.

Edit: I've found an even more interesting thing:

4. If you launch a whole set except for slot 1, the first slot following slot 1 will become your main window, which is normal. This new main window does not trigger the sound either, though, which is very weird.

For example: I have a set of 3 characters. Character 1 is named: Boxer1, character 2 is named: Boxer2 and character 3 is named: Boxer3.

Cases in which I do get the sound:

1. If I launch the whole set: only Boxer1 makes the sound when I focused that screen. Boxer2 and Boxer 3 won't do this.
2. If I only launch Boxer1, it will still make this sound.

Cases in which I do not get the sound:

1. If I only launch Boxer2.
2. If I launch all slots except for slot 1, even if there's 20 of them, it won't give me a sound, ever.

Re: Getting Windows Error Sound when Hitting Hotkeys

Sorry for the thread necro, but I just recently ran into this problem, and was able to fix it (at least in my case).

Last night I was playing with graphics settings trying to fix the random (inexplicable) lag I would get, and set my windows from 'fixed' to 'fullscreen'. Shortly after this I noticed that I was getting beeps every time I hit alt+and key combo. Tried all sorts of google remedies (sticky keys off, etc) and nothing worked, so I just backtracked and re-set the graphics settings to 'fixed', and the beeping has disappeared.

In another thread someone mentioned it may have something to do with not being the foreground window, so I thought it might be helpful to post what solved the issue for me. Please let me know if any further information is needed.
