Help with splitting up broadcasting

hey guys I've been reading the forums for some time now to not find a clear answer so I thought posting here is the closest to what I;m trying to achive.

Im running 12 accounts
1x Orca
11x Miners

And all this time iv'e been using a standard multi box setup with one large window swaping with alot of small windows all I'm trying to do is exclude the orca pilot from the mouse broad casting.

ok ive read it & followed what lax has posted, even tryed the target groups but still no joy.
I followed the post by lax by adding to the action list , i do the 1st one which is fine slot 1 broadcasts to slot 2 but when i add slot 1 -> 3, 1->2 no longer works.
From what the post states to get the desired result I need to setup actions to broadcast from slot 1 to all the other slots i wash to broadcast to and leave out the one i dont.

Excuse me while I split this off into its own thread...

The main problem with your pasted configuration is that you made a copy of Activate Repeat, and both of them are still configured as Shift+Alt+R. This means that both of the Mapped Keys are going to happen. So change one of the Hotkeys, first of all.

Secondly, you have "Activate Repeat" to tell window 2 to use 2 different Repeater Targets, one after the other. First it says "window 2, use window 3 as your target" and then it says "no wait, use window 4 as your target". So if you're in Window 2, anything you do goes only to window 4, because of this. No other window is affected at all by this one, and it wont broadcast to 2 windows (use an Action Target Group).

And the Copy, says that regardless of what window you're in, that window should only broadcast to Window 4... and also turn on broadcasting in Window 2 (and only in window 2).

ok i took your advice and copied the active repeat (the whole thing)and just changed the repeater target to slot 2 and the new repeater target groups (others in) miners.
But it stilll broadcasts to all screens,should i go into more detail on how i use the client and what in trying to achive.

Okay.

Now, as configured, Ctrl+[ will turn on broadcasting and, for WIndow 2, this will only go to the Miners group.

However.... your Characters are automatically (internally) placed in an Action Target Group with the name of your current Character Set, which happens to be precisely the same as the name of your custom Action Target Group. Meaning, it is expected behavior for all of them to technically be in the Miners ATG (and therefore receive this broadcast), because its name is the same as your Character Set name.

You will need to rename your Character Sets, so they don't exactly match the ATG names. Sorry for this confusion

Thx for taking the time to help it works perfectly. I was getting a weird thing happening before where broadcast would somtimes enable while switching windows.
