Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

ECCM, some flavor of electronic warfare, or remote repairs of some sort are probably your best bet. I'd just try them out and see what works, I think it will depend based on the fit / signature radius of the ships involved.

This is a case where going fully active (using guns, manually targeting) or fully passive (one afk drone boat per anomaly) makes a lot more sense. With multiple ships in one anomaly, you'll be killing things fast enough that you're essentially active ratting anyway, so why bother with drone assist?

What I'm looking for is a way to always have the drones aggro the drone bunny so I can set them to guard and have the drones attack automatically.

Id prefer not to loose a mid slot on the ishtar but I will if necessary.

Currently I'm thinking about using eccm on my drones to boost my threat on the ishtar, other options are remote rep, remote sebo, and any other projected effects to target the drones.

if I use a target painter il have to be continuously locking and changing targets, defeating the purpose.

I can try all of these mods, I'm mainly posting on the forums to see if anyone shares my idea and or has tested it.

Civilian gun, however the rats are likely to switch targets to other ships after you've pulled agro.

I would play around in Eve HQ's fitter and mess with remote and projected modules. They are far more effective than local modules and you can come up with some pretty strong stuff with them.

Spider tanking ishtars with wardens at 70k are pretty neat.

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

Any ewar will get the rats to target you moreso than someone else. Also, prop mods or remote assist modules. perhaps run some small remote armor/shield reps on your drones.

Outside of ewar, if this is because of a targetting issue: if you sort your overview by icon, it will be identical across every character without the need to broadcast the target. Just don't spam ctrl+left click on all the rats, give it a half second delay before clicking the next target to lock to account for any latency/lag and your guys will always lock the same stuff in the same order.

Something isn't right. I use a Rattlesnake team with bare minimum skills, I mean fresh cruise missile training then jump in the ship. I am getting about 25m a tick per toon running Forsaken Hubs. They are only dumping about 800 dps each. Not much but it does the trick.
