The exe file itself is configured in your Inner Space Game Profile. Which Game Profile is used for each your Characters is configured in ISBoxer Toolkit; select each Character in the top left pane, and configure the Game and Game Profile in the bottom right pane.

is this mean CCP not allow multibox from time Odyssey setted up on Tranquility ? or i do not understant ?

I think you misunderstand. All CCP Atropos is saying is that it will no longer be possible to bypass the launcher by launching bin\exefile.exe. The login process for EVE, going forward, will be the same as most other MMOs, and will require the game's launcher. It is not the end of the world, it's kind of a minor thing; people are just complaining because, going forward, logging in will require additional time/care, and they find this to be an unnecessary waste of time.

Is there any way for the software to capture the windows as they're opened? E.g. I'm going to open 9 instances now, please populate zones 2-10 as the EXEfile comes up each time.

No

So // in near future i must to launch all my multibox clients manualy? or there will be a fix in Isboxer for this disaster logging changes?

I don't follow the question. You launch your ISBoxer Character Set the way you always have, and it launches your clients (or the launcher, which will then launch the client) for you.

Re: Eve Online - Odyssey Launcher, causing problems like always.

I'm working on improving the new EVE login process for ISBoxer, but frankly the relevant functionality in the new EVE launcher is buggy even before ISBoxer comes into the picture.

For example, I try typing in a different username in the box and press Tab to switch to the password field, and it puts back the original name as if I didn't bother to type anything in the box. In order to successfully change the username, I have to press Enter instead of Tab.

And then it doesn't always save the usernames. These are kept in a Cookies file, (which we can virtualize with no issues whatsoever) however it is a bit hit-or-miss as to whether the EVE launcher actually saves the Cookies file with your entered usernames. If you type a username in the box, click Login, and then immediately play, the launcher does not save the username you just entered! However, if you type a username in the box, click Login, then click SWITCH USER ACCOUNT, then log in AGAIN after the Username field is already populated this time, THEN it saves the Cookies file with both accounts entered. I must assume that this is because clicking Login doesn't update the local Cookies with your entered Username, it only gets updated when the Cookies are re-queried from the server (by clicking Switch user account), and then they are actually saved when you click Play.

I'll attempt to forward this info to CCP Atropos, and maybe it will get into the right developer's hands in order to issue a fix for this.

In the meantime I will be issuing an update to Inner Space to fix a minor bug with virtualization of this particular Cookies file, as well as an update to ISBoxer to add it as a default Virtual File for EVE Online. Whenever they fix this issue the login process will simply be to launch your Character Set, each of the Usernames will automatically be filled in if you have successfully logged in (and until then, ALSO have clicked Switch user account afterward) to the right account in each Slot, you will just need to enter your password and click Login and click Play. This will be exactly the same process as logging into most other MMOs with ISBoxer, including the Cookie storage (same thing for EQ1, EQ2, Vanguard, Lord of the Rings Online, etc).

Edit: Said updates are available, see http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4056 for instructions

Why do you think? :)
Retribution is the last login screen unless they change there mind, so how will you login to a login screen that doesn't exist?
Pretty much... There will be no way to bypass the launcher as it will be the only way to login to your accounts.

Currently my work-around is to set the launcher to close automatically, and just re-open it a bunch of times, because when I tried to re-use the same launcher it launched them all into the same zone on my other screen. I'm also not thrilled about using the aforementioned work-around because it's temporary and won't work long-term.

Svo.

Same here, all in one zone. Cleared everything down to what got downloaded from IS Boxer, cleared every cache I can find, started out trying to change inner space config, but

GUID="1610612740" Name="EVE Online Default Profile"><Setting Name="Game">EVE Online</Setting><Setting Name="Executable">eve.exe</Setting><Setting Name="Parameters"/><Setting Name="Path">C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE</Setting></Set></Set>

Have no idea what to change here or where.

Set the launcher to close after launching and ended up with all the accounts in same zone, entered each one individually, when I look at the task bar to try to select the toon I want they are all listed with the first toon name I first entered, but when I click on the top toon in the zone the different toons I logged in individually move to the big zone, but never in the same sequence. Might get toon A five times before I get Toon B once. If I use the repeater on the one in big zone, all the ones in the same zone repeat the mouse click.

Lost two days reading and following instructions, always same problem. I need instructions more detailed than "remove heart, repair, replace" I know this is all CCP's fault.
Thanks you

Re: Eve Online - Odyssey Launcher, causing problems like always.

The only instructions you should need are in the sticky post:
EVE's new Launcher, how to make it work well with ISBoxer

What it boils down to is YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO RE-USE THE SAME LAUNCHER.

ISBoxer needs to launch each instance of the launcher.

From the sticky:
When logging into the game via the launcher, each launcher window comes up one at a time. Make sure that in the EVE Launcher Settings, in the Startup tab, the check box labelled "Close the EVE Launcher after starting EVE Online" is checked. After you log into the launcher and click Play, the game instance from that launcher will come up, and the launcher will close. When the game instance comes up, the next launcher will automatically come up.

(For the record this is also explained in the EVE Quick Start Guide under 'Before configuring ISBoxer')

To find this setting, open up the EVE Launcher... and click the Gear icon in the upper right corner. Then click the Startup tab. Then check the box labelled "Close the EVE Launcher after starting EVE Online". Then the process will be exactly as described in the sticky.

Re: Eve Online - Odyssey Launcher, causing problems like always.

Thanks Lax,

As i said in my original post, I set the launcher to close as I followed each step carefully.

after reading your reply, I knew there was some setting somewhere which was not usual, or i would have had the same success everyone else was enjoying (well to the extent CCP will allow any subscriber to enjoy in the workarounds which must be always be found for each new "feature"). I started the search with the basics and found that when my Grandson was just here over Spring Break (I called to confirm) he had updated the HD with a 256 SSD and because that did not provide enough space, he put a 1 TB HD in. He put the O/S on the SSD along with shortcuts and launchers. So I ended up with two launchers once the launcher update patch was installed.

I had made the instructed change on the launcher on the SSD, but not the 1 TB HD. I have caught up to the very limited joy, perhaps anguish of most Eve players as now I can launch in the zones intended.

Thank you for your help.

Hmmm.... did they change their minds?

I've patched today and thought I'd try loading a client through ISBoxer (mine runs the bin/ExeFile.exe file) and... it seems to still be there and working!?!

The cluster isn't accepting connections yet but there is a new login screen without background animation...
