Blackscreens when undocking multiple clients

I had this happen today, and it has happened before in the past

I run all my clients from the same directory

relogging the effected clients seems to fix the problem and i dont remember having the issue happening again during that gaming "session"

so i would say this only occurs when i 1st log in.

I can confirm this. Im getting the occasional blackscreen upon login on one of my clients. A simple restart of that client fixes it. It never happens in game, only upon login (and possibly undock, but I live where no stations exist, so I cant confirm this )

While its not a huge problem, a fix for this would be awesome

Same here in the sense it only happens on first log in... once i relog the effected clients its fine and does not happen again till i relog the whole group.

Tonight's development build, 5848, could potentially (may or may not) help with this issue. It will fix some other "black screen" issues in other games, maybe including this one.

To try it out, right click Inner Space in the system tray (notification area) and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.

I had the same thing happen on build 5848 (9 of the clients) ill give it another go next time i log them in and report that aswell.

i see this bug last 2 weeks ago on one client, till then not even one time

i dont know if thats the time when i changed all my client cache folders into one folder with mklink /j

but my 17 clients works well

all clients are the same one with copys per mklink /j

Let me confirm what you just said... you use the SAME CACHE FOLDER with all clients?

Why do you have multiple installs exactly?

i dont like that isboxer copy the char configs so i use shadow copy that the game make new folders and separte them

the cache all redirektet to c:\eve_cache

so i can check different things if i turn the cache redirect on or off if eve fast slower use more less ram and so things


and my eve folder i have longer than isboxer so its grown by time

never change a running system

Confirming 5848 and 5853 I am still black screening in identical fashion
