Best setups for running anomalies.

I bought this software because I mostly read about people doing 0.0 Anomalies so fast they can make upwards of 350m+/h. I have tried
one setup running 3 characters:

1x Thannatos with 14 Sentries 1400 DPS - 1 Capital Shield Repair
2x 800 II + Hail II Machariels each 1300 DPS excluding Smart Bomb on each

I have my carrier on one screen and my two Machariels on the second screen with ISBoxer setup so they always target/shoot the same target at the same time. I have
carrier assist sentry drones to one. Now with this setup it takes me somewhere between 8-10min to finish a Gate Haven or Forsaken Hub. I am making 125m/h + 20-40m loot. How can I optimize this ?

125m/h is good but it is not that good enough to justify ISBoxer.

Any suggestions how to improve this or maybe a different setup that would work better. I would like to push it to some
180-200m/h not just to justify using ISBoxer but multiple characters.

My alternative:
Seems superb on paper but don't know how well it would play out.

3x 1400 II + Quake Machariels @ 100km the total volly comes to 38 000 Which should mean you would be able to alfa any BS spawn at least on paper.

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

For me 125m/h sounds good but not perfect. You can do that with 1 Character running HQ Incursions in HighSec. You should probably try to get 3 Machariels into HighSec HQ Sites. With a good Incursion-Group (I prefer DIN and TVP) you do about 5 Sites an hour which means 33m ISK x 5 Sites / hour x 3 Accounts = 495m ISK / hour which is crazy good.

Imagine this x3 (or even x5)

That's from running HQ Incursions with a single Character.

I also saw other people doing PVE Multiboxing in Sov-Space. Maybe try to get everything you can get there. Loot everything, Salvage everything. Probably even worth to get another Account just for that. But don't ask me for ISK/hr. No idea there. :)

Back when I lived in SOV space I did 60m+ ISK with an single Raven Navy or Ishtar. An avarage tick for me was 22m ISK. Don't remember if the payouts were all 15 or 20 minutes. They changed it some time ago. (Back then I did worse in Ishtar because I had no good drone skills, I think actually Ishtar would perform better).

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

Thanks for the suggestion the Incursions are a superb option but I want to stay in NS. I did some research on my own and here are the stats I have came up and related fits:

1) 3x Machariel + 800 Hail II + 3x Republic Fleet Large Smartbomb + 12 Bouncher II

Total Combined DPS: 4800
Total Combined Volley: 12 000
Required Time for Haven: 9m +/- 20s
Total Income: 6 Havens/h ~180m/h + 80m/h (loot) + 40k LP ( Total approx: 280m/h )

This setup can run all Haven sites you require 2 TC + Optimal Range for the non gated ones.

2) 3x Vargur + 800 Hail II + 9x Republic Fleet Large Smartbomb + 9 Bouncer II

Total Combined DPS: 4600
Total Combined Volley: 11 000
Required Time for Haven: 7m +/- 20s
Total Income: 8 Havens/h ~ 240m/h + 120m/h (loot) + 60k LP ( Total approx: 390m/h )

This setup can run all Havens but you only get that income when you do gated Heavens.

3) 3x Typhoon Fleet Issue + 24 Republic Fleet Large Smartbomb + 15 Bouncer II

Total Combined DPS: 2400
Total Combined Volley: 5000
Required Time for Haven: 4m +/- 20s
Total Income: 16 Havens/h ~ 480m/h + 200-250m/h ( loot ) + 100-120k LP ( Total approx: 800m/h )

This setup can only run gated Heavens means certain death with neutrals or DC. I got the idea of a youtube eve player using ISBoxer and improved on that.
I warp in at 10km drop sentries then burn in for the gate and start cycling smartbombs.

At my most optimized I managed to run 16 Heavens cycling two systems. However due to respawn rate the realistic number of Heavens I can run is some 11-12 which still brings Income to about 700-740m total combined.

Havent played in about a year but i ran 7 Tachyon Oracles doing forsaken Hubs in Provi doing 13m per tick/per account. Sites took about 5m, didnt loot or salvage. Just my 2isk for comparison purposes.

Y'all are crazy. I run 5 Ishtars, each in its own anomaly, each one makes about 50 million isk per hour (after taxes, but not including LP from ESS) and requires absolutely zero input other than warp in, launch drones, orbit, turn on afterburner. It's not about the speed, it's about the isk per effort!

AFKtars are truly wonderful, though if you're multiboxing they aren't really AFK cause they start finishing their respective anomalies at different times.

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

Honestly I feel AFKtars are ineffective as they lose drones constantly due to agro changes. I would rather just spider tank two ishtars together and drop sentries. I can only run half as many sites, sure, but I run more sites per hour overall so it's a trade off of isk/effort for isk/hour. More DPS from sentries and with 2 in you can run the sites in a few minutes.

Isk/Effort is a bit higher.

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

AFKtars don't lose drones if you're doing it right, at least in Guristas anomalies. Other rats may get out of range or have trouble catching you or various other things. For Serpentis, for example, I think the active armor fit is better because it is slow enough for the frigates to catch you.

Re: Best setups for running anomalies.

Evening all, Any ideas on a module that can attract aggro for guristas rats? I'm flying a fleet of dominix's in havens and I'm using sentries, on guard mode on the drone bunny.

What I'm looking for is a way to always have the drones aggro the drone bunny so I can set them to guard and have the drones attack automatically.

Id prefer not to loose a mid slot on the ishtar but I will if necessary.

Currently I'm thinking about using eccm on my drones to boost my threat on the ishtar, other options are remote rep, remote sebo, and any other projected effects to target the drones.

if I use a target painter il have to be continuously locking and changing targets, defeating the purpose.

I can try all of these mods, I'm mainly posting on the forums to see if anyone shares my idea and or has tested it.

Cheers,
