How did he do this

I was watching this video of a multiboxer running incursions:

What I would love to know is how he is using a video fx to change the targets of his logi together. Upper right of his main screen you will see he has the targets for his 2 logistics and next to them a video fx of there modules. Now if you look at the left side of the screen you will see smaller full screens of his logi and there targets are along the top and not where his video fx is. In the past I could use a repeater region over the video fx but in that case the area I want repeated to has to match the area the repeater is over. This does not seam to be the case here. He has the video fx in a separate area from the source but is some how using a broadcast / repeater region to target both logi together. HOW????

If anyone knows how to do this please help

He's not using a Video FX to change the targets together.

He has Video FX on the screen on the right, but he's either using a Repeater Region on his main screen Overview window (not over a Video FX Viewer), or just Broadcasting Mode (Shift+Alt+R). So this has literally nothing to do with Video FX except that he is using Video FX to see things.

I know how to use a ATG and have it as the target of a repeater region or set a broadcast hotkey to them. What I don't understand is how he is broadcasting to different locations? His video fx is on the left while the targets are on the upper edge of the screen. I think your right that it is a broadcast as you see the pop up on screen for "broadcast on" but he is then clicking on the video fx and you see his mouse on both logi video fx.

So I guess how it looks to me is a broadcast hotkey to an ATG through a video FX?

I think what you're looking for is a Repeater Region with a Name. Don't enable the repeater option on the Video FX Viewer. Make a Repeater Region on that spot, with the Target being the ATG. Name it, something different than the Video FX. Set up a Repeater Region with that Name in both logi windows.

The Name is used to transform the cursor positioning to the region with that name in the other windows, so make sure the Repeater Regions have the same Name.

OHHHH!!! I never knew if I named a repeater region I could change it's position in the windows I'm repeating too. That must be what he has done. I will test it but I'm fairly sure that is what I'm looking at.

No. I originally implemented it so you could pick the Target, but the problem is that the Video FX Source is only in one window, and therefore the cursor translation would work correctly only for that one window. The other windows in the ATG would have the wrong cursor position.

I run a similar layout

create broadcast dps and broadcast logi
thats all you need to make it work

once you are on your logi fx viever activate logi and you can handle them as you like to
