ISBoxer with new Steam integrated Eve Account?

Hi... A few days ago I purchased Eve via Steam. I then added a "side kick" account via CCP website. Does anyone know how to configure ISBoxer for an Eve account that uses steam user account API to log in? My CCP user account name is "Steam User" and cannot log in via Eve launcher or exefile.exe. I have to use steam. I finally tried setting the inner space game configuration to point to steam.exe -applaunch 8500 which does indeed launch the game and log in through steam but then it doesn't seem to be picked up by inner space (I assume because I am pointing to the steam.exe file). My CCP side kick account (which does log in via launcher or exefile.exe) doesn't have this issue.

If you know a way to make this work that would be awesome

Or is this a lost cause? was looking forward to using this but can't throw away my main character on the steam account. Shame really. Or perhaps there's some simple way to do this and I'm just being silly?

I have not heard from anyone so far that knows a way to log into your EVE Steam account without Steam.

One thing you can do is launch Steam through Inner Space as if it were the game's launcher, and then proceed to launch EVE via Steam. This will work for one instance of the game.

Another option is to move your EVE character(s) off of your Steam account and onto a non-Steam EVE account.

When I try that method (steam as the .exe) I can get to the Eve launcher but after I hit the launch button I just get a black screen with the IS overlay (fps etc). Any ideas? I'm just looking for one instance to work right now so if you know a work around that would be excellent.
