EVE Online: Rubicon - November 19, 2013

The upcoming Rubicon expansion of EVE Online, due to be released November 19, 2013, will include many new features for your multiboxing fleet. Here's a brief overview:

* Control Hi-Sec Customs Offices - You can control taxes on the flow of resources from planets in high security space.

* Deploy Mobile Structures - Player-owned mobile structures can be deployed to support your operations.

 * Sisters of EVE Faction Ships - New ships for your fleet, designed for extended, discreet travel as your multiboxing team flies through hostile regions.

 * Ship Re-balancing - Enhance your multiboxing fleet with the changes to Interceptor, Interdictor, and Marauder class hulls.

 * Guerilla-Style Warfare Support - Small fleets of ships become a force to be reckoned with... Imagine the possibilities for multiboxing!

 * Interbus Ship Identification System - Redesigned EVE certificate system to help you decide on the ships and skills you will need to perfect your multiboxing fleet.

What do you think about the new features? Anyone want to speculate on how the Guerilla-Style Warfare Support could benefit multiboxers?

Re: EVE Online: Rubicon - November 19, 2013

For multi-boxing there are some possible things coming up that should be neat

- Deployable tractoring device. Very nice for missions and such, should be very cool.

- in 0.0 and low sec using the portable anti-cyno to protect mining groups would be a good idea. I'd assume you could deploy many of them and cover a large area, forcing gankers to come in very far away or totally off grid. Also has huge implications to prevent a capital heavy force for jumping into the middle of a fight with capitals.

- Interceptors will be able to warp through bubbles, like T3's are able to now. Fun and powerful but maybe not useful for multi-boxers

- New cert system will hopefully help people keep alts training in a similar fashion.
