Maybe I should just state what i am trying to do. I will happily give someone 100mil to help me get this right.
I would really like to run 5 characters at the same time using the mouse and keyboard to control all 5. 'Global commands'. If i lock one target they al lock at the same time. If i hit activate on a turret I would like them all to activate at the same time etc, etc,. all my accounts have exact mirror images of each other. Window placement etc.
This is pretty clearly not all you're trying to do. If this was all you wanted to do, then what you would do is go to the
EVE Quick Start Guide which runs you through everything you need to do in order to get what you just said. That's this...
1. Make sure the game is added to Inner Space
2. Use the Quick Setup Wizard in ISBoxer
3. Export to Inner Space
4. Launch your team
That's it. Broadcasting Mode will be on by default, so when you click somewhere, your other game windows get a click in the same place. You don't need dxNothing or Video FX to accomplish this.
This is not to say that when you lock a target, all of your game windows are going to necessarily lock on
the same target, because your Overview window might not be sorted exactly the same way in every window, so you might be clicking on a different name in the overview window in one or more instances. (That's due to the nature of the game...)
So, as far as what you just said is all you want, you get that by following -- yes -- the Quick Start Guide which is the tutorial that pretty much everyone will start with.
I have gotten as far as getting the window to show. I press alt + control and the green screen goes away. I can not click on anyone in local. Any of those names.
You mean Ctrl+Shift+Alt+G? If you hold Ctrl the green screen goes away while you hold it, but in order to interact with the view you have to actually shut off the control panel again. Otherwise it's still in editing mode...
The actual mouse appears an inch or two away from that mouse pointer. I'm not sure if this is suppose to be like that.
Granted, from your screenshots it LOOKS to be right, but:
This will happen if you've made a Viewer that doesn't quite match the Source's aspect ratio. For example, if you look at your Source and it doesn't stretch as far down as the input box at the bottom of Local, but yet you set up your Viewer and dragged it further down to show the input box, then the Mouse control is going to be off vertically. This is relatively easy to fix -- resize the Viewer by dragging one edge larger so it is obviously over-extended in that direction, and then slide it back until you get to the point where making it smaller changes the other edge instead. The point where that changes is exactly the right spot to match the Aspect Ratio of your Source.
If that's not it, then you probably just need to go into the EVE video settings in each of your game windows and set it to fullscreen mode. Re-launch after.
