Everquest issue - 4 box mouse slowdown

I have been using ISBoxer for the past month, started out with a Warrior and Mage on main computer, its turned into Warrior, Mage, Mage, Druid on my main computer and enchanter on 2nd computer. I use the 4 screen layout under windows layouts (1 is the main screen, 3 bots are smaller screens under main screen), I have a AMD FX-8320 8 Core CPU with RADEON R9 280 video card, SSD and 8GB of RAM.

What i am seeing is randomly my mouse pointer will slow down dramatically, however its just the mouse pointer, if I use my a,s,w,d keys to move around i don't have any lag but moving the mouse around is extremely painful, this didn't occur with Warrior, Mage and Mage but started when i added the 4th character a druid.

Also, when i launch Everquest from IsBoxer, i can never get my 4th account name to pop up correctly every time, so i have to manually go and edit the Login name (I keep all 4 accounts passwords the same, use the broadcaster to log in all at once and get to the game, this is a PAIN)

Thanks for any help

Re: Everquest issue - 4 box mouse slowdown

No clue about the mouse problem, except to say that I've seen similar behavior intermittently in vanilla EQ without ISBoxer. Seemed to go away when I switched to a wired mouse rather than a wireless one... perhaps there was some sort of RF interference cropping up? Just saying that you should not automatically assume this is an ISBoxer problem.

About the login problem, it sounds like something is messed up with your virtual file eqlsPlayerData-charname.ini for that character. Do you have the account name specified for the character in ISBoxer? I'm guessing that you may have left it blank since it says it is optional. If you enter it, ISBoxer will warn you when you export if it finds a different account name in the file from the one you said it should be. Not sure what would change it though.

If you cannot find an obvious solution more information would be helpful. Are you running all characters from the same everquest directory? What game profile are you using? Do you see the virtual files for all the characters? What comes up as an account name when it is wrong... is it one of your other accounts?

EDIT: Aha. saw a post in another thread. I bet you copied one of your existing characters to make the 4th, and did not change the virtual files for the new one. So two characters are trying to use the same file, and it can only hold info for one. Whichever updated it last will cause the other to get the wrong name.
