Auto follow

I am attaching my current setup and need some help. It works except for the characters do not target the focus window to auto follow.
When I click my menu button for follow the characters try to auto follow but it fails since they have no target

Re: Auto follow

Assuming you're talking about the G510 button, you'll either have to change that particular Menu button from "Hold" to (probably) "Pressed", or you'll have to change the follow Mapped Key that you're calling to something besides "Pressed or Released" and then click the button twice.

Re: Auto follow

I am talking about the g510 button. I can make keys g510 1 through 12 work by assigning the standard hotkey set and changing the standard hotkeys from to match g510 1 through 12. But even with that and selecting hold or pressed they do not target the main window first. I am sure I have something in the menu or some such messed up but I am not able to find it. Ill post my latest xml to be looked at

Re: Auto follow

Sorry, deleted the last one because, there is some virtualisation but finding it is a bitch.

It may be that the 110: - CHARACTER TEMPLATE is missing a "Control: Focus Me" mapped key from the virtualisation chain.

Re: Auto follow

You'll need to set a mapped key in the Character Set ->Switching tab -> When I switch to this character Do this Mapped Key ... which virtualizes target me as the /slash command "/tar <character>" If that's missing, there's no name being spelled out, hence no target to follow.

Re: Auto follow

Ok, so I added Control: Focus me to 110: - Character Template
I am trying to follow the chain but then I think I confuse myself because there is so much virtualization going on

They are still not targeting me. Should My G510 button be pointing to 200: Movement key map, mapped key Follow Me: Current Boxes?
At least if I know that is right I can try and work from there. I see under each character template (Nec, SHM, MAG) that I have the Control: Focus Me and the /slash commands set correctly

Re: Auto follow

So, make sure the casing and spelling is correct, "Control: Focus Me", because it does matter.

Also you may need to go back to the 010: 03 Box, Focus Slot mapped keys and reselect the "Control: Focus Me" mapped key from the drop downs. In your profile copy it was showing this mapped key despite the fact it did not exist, so if you select a different mapped key in the drop down, then in the left hand pane select a different mapped key, e.g. Invite 01, and then go back and select the Focus Slot 0x mapped key and re-edit the drop down, setting the Do Mapped Key action back to the correct mapped key.

edit:
Also Slot 2 is running the "Focus Slot: 03" mapped key in the "When I switch to this character... ", and the spelling on the 010: 03 Box "Focus Slot: 02" mapped key is not correct.

Re: Auto follow

Here is new xml with changes. Casing seems to be correct.
