EQ getting started questions

My set up;

Six accounts, one is my raiding main.

21 inch monitor

First question;

What size monitor should I be looking to upgrade to? 27? Bigger?

Second question;

I noticed when I set up ISBoxer I had to change the layout and size of the character UI's, this messes with my raiders UI and layout.

Is it possible to be able to run him in ISBoxer with the five other accounts and still be able to run him solo when I raid with my guild without having to switch UI layout and resolution every time?

Third question;

Would it be better to run two monitors and keep the raider on his own screen and thus not have to change settings when I switch from raiding to boxing>

This is entirely up to you, but if you currently have a monitor which has a native resolution of 1920x1080 and you buy another monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080, it doesn't really matter how big it is since it's still just 1920x1080.

Just know that if you buy a monitor with a higher resolution than what you've got now you can expect your hardware to get worked harder which may require you to drop down settings or FPS to compensate.

Someone who plays EQ will have to answer this one.

Again, completely up to you. Some people run one monitor per character, others run one monitor for all their characters. If you feel that you'll benefit from having multiple monitors then you should make the change.

You don't "have to" change your window layout. Full Screen Stacked in ISBoxer is the same resolution as Full Screen Stacked outside of ISBoxer.

If you're using a Window Layout of anything other than Full Screen Stacked, such as Full Screen Avoid Taskbar, or quadrants to see all Characters at once, you will have issues. There is no way to run different resolutions for the same character due to limitations in the manner which "fullscreen" is saved in the UI_[character]_[server].ini file.

I highly recommend running Full Screen Stacked on all Characters, and using VideoFX (with or without) a second monitor to see the other Characters.

Yes. See above. I always use ISBoxer even when single boxing to take advantage of the core management, Window Layouts, and DPS Rotations.
