I need help getting keymaps to work

Ok, for the past 5 hours I have been fiddling with this program and I am at my wits end.

I just want a simple broadcast to work.

I just simply want to be able to hit the "1" key on my keyboard and it go to my 2nd and 3rd box. Pretty darn simple. I have used the wizard to no avail. I have assigned my hotkey to my character set and still nothing happens. It would seem that my keyboard is the culprit as I have a G510s Logitech keyboard and something about running that as an administrator fixes it....but it didn't. Im lost with this program, please help. Thank you

I am thinking it has to be my keyboard, because none of the Alt F, Alt G, or whatever the Alt / shift / control / commands work at all. What do I need to do? Just go to Walmart and buy a barebones keyboard at this point?
