Failed to execute message

Hey all new to ISboxer and what a great tool. One little issue I am having in EQ is.

I have 3 accounts one Gold and two Silver. Running on a new machine running windows 8. When I log out of the silver accounts normally a website would open up trying to get you to upgrade. When using innerspace/ISboxer when I log out to character select I get a pop up saying that.
"Failed to execute c:program files/internet explorer/iexplore.exe
http://www.everquest.com/free-to-play/exit silver.
It then goes on to say this is a 62 bit version and innerspace requires a 32 bit version."

The characters won't log out until I click close on this message and sometimes it's hard to close the eq screen to get to this message to click. Idealy I would disable the pop up completely but I don't think that is possible. I do a lot of jumping back and forth. Anything I can do to fix this minor annoyance?

Yes, report the issue (as you have done) so I can do an update to take care of it. I will handle it ASAP, thanks

Re: Failed to execute message

Inner Space build 5948 should solve this issue. This build is currently the development build of Inner Space. To try it out, right click Inner Space in the system tray (notification area) and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.

Re: Failed to execute message

Seems to have fixed it perfectly.

One other thing has been bugging me. I have 3 accounts going and 3 monitors. I set it up using the wizard. Is there anyway the game launcher could attach itself to the monitor that the game instance is going to use? What is happening is the "main" toon game itself opens on the middle monitor but the second launcher hides behind that game instance. When trying to log into what I call "box1" and "box2" I have to try and minimize the window (center/main toon) by alt-tabing to the desktop. It seems like sometimes the second launcher pops on top of the "main" game instance but is not clickable so I have to fiddle around a bit to get to the launcher. Not a huge deal but would be pretty slick if the launcher itself popped up where the game instance is going to end up.

Re: Failed to execute message

You can bypass the launcher entirely by adding "patchme" without quotes as a parameter to the game profile in Inner Space. In this manner you'll only have to patch once a month upon a game update.

To add to this, you may already have a "No Patch" Game Profile to use. You may be able to go to your Characters in the top left pane in ISBoxer (under Characters, select each of your guys) and then in the bottom right pane adjust the Game Profile drop-down box to be EverQuest (No Patch).

If not, then you can either change your existing Game Profile (http://isboxer.com/wiki/Game_Profile) or use Add Game from the Inner Space menu and point it to eqgame.exe with Parameters "patchme" (no quotes) and then point your Character to use this new Game and Game Profile.

Re: Failed to execute message

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but I am going to stick with the way I currently do it as it saves my information with the launcher.

*******I just ran across the original message that this thread is based on just now when I tried to go into the station store and purchase something. It tried to open an external browser and I get the same message albiet with a different http: path. It looks like the path would be specific to whatever I wanted to buy. Previous to this fix I believe I made purchases but didn't get this message. I am not 100% on that though.
