Hoping you are pasting me one launched through Inner Space/ISBoxer this time, this will also help to prove that you are launching the same copy of EverQuest in both cases

Perfect.

This shows without a doubt that, as predicted, you are not using the same copy of EverQuest under Inner Space. (And, the old one is definitely not patched up to current.)

Without Inner Space (CORRECT):

Therefore, to solve this problem, do the following:
1. Right click Inner Space
2. Select Add Game
3. For the executable, click the "..." to browse to C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest\eqgame.exe
4. For the Parameters box, type in "patchme" with no quotes
5. Name it something different than you already have in your games list under Inner Space (so not "EverQuest", but something you'd recognize and know as the right EQ)
6. Click OK

After doing that, you will need to use this new "Game" in ISBoxer. You can update your existing Characters to use the new one. To do so, just go down the list of Characters in the top left pane in ISBoxer, and find the "Game" and "Game Profile" drop-down boxes in the bottom right pane. Change them to the Game you just added, and there will only be one profile (the "Default" one for this new "Game"). Remember to Export after making any changes in ISBoxer in order to activate them.

This should solve the problem.


I would also suggest permanently removing the old EQ folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\, or at LEAST the eqgame.exe in it, or you could just rename the folder. By doing so, you will absolutely prevent Inner Space from launching the wrong one and confusing you like this again...
